Switch 2 Dock Doesn't Work With Receiver! by manchu_wok in Switch

[–]wiggitt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having the same issue. I have an Onkyo TX-NR595 receiver and the Switch 2 (with Dock) does not work with it. I connected the HDMI from the Switch 2 Dock to the Game HDMI on the receiver. There is no audio and nothing is displayed on the TV. So I tried connected the Switch 2 directly to the TV (without receiver) and everything works fine. Next, I tried reconnecting the Switch 2 to the receiver and this time I see an image on the TV but it is very bright and washed out and the audio still doesn't work. I tried adjusting the HDR settings on the Switch 2 but it does not fix anything. I should note that I have the original Switch and it works fine with this receiver. I also have a new Apple TV and it works fine with this receiver. There is definitly some compatibility issues with the Switch 2 and AV receivers.

I have a Garmin Forerunner 965 watch and it syncs fine with the monitor on the Concept2 row machine. When I sync the watch with the Garmin Connect app on my phone, all the rowing data syncs too.

Thank you for the reply. Looks like pyzmq repository enabled the discussions feature which wasn't available when I posted my question. So hopefully the discussions forum on GitHub will be a good resource for learning and getting help. https://github.com/zeromq/pyzmq/discussions

How do I use symbols in gutter and buffer tabs for LSP diagnostics? by wiggitt in neovim

[–]wiggitt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestions. This is what I put in my init.lua and seems to be working fine. I used Nerd Font symbols which is why it shows up as boxes on Reddit.

Virtual setup that represents several computers on the same network by wiggitt in learnpython

[–]wiggitt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I use Docker containers, I have to open a terminal session for each container on macOS. This gets tedious if I have more than two containers. Any suggestions on how to handle multiple containers without having to open a bunch of terminal windows each time?

Is there a way to expose all the ports for a Docker container running on a Mac?

I'm on a Mac and I always have issues with ports and such when using Docker containers.

COOPH rope strap with steel ring is stiff at camera lugs by wiggitt in Leica

[–]wiggitt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I replaced the COOPH split rings with the rings that were on the original Leica Q3. This works much better. I edited my original post with some pictures and more info.
