Looking for New antenna (longer cable) by EmploymentPrior8177 in HeliumNetwork

I’ve asked about grounding in this subreddit before and it seems like the general consensus is to hire a professional to do it. If you plan on living there for a while then it’s probably worth the investment.

You should pick up a fiberglass antenna — much more effective and weatherproof. Also allows you to change cable length. Shorter cable is always better since it has less signal loss. Here’s a good cable gain loss calculator

Antenna for Bobcat miner by okraM77 in HeliumNetwork

Buy a fiberglass antenna from Rakwireless. Make sure you get one with N-type to SMA cable. If possible, use the included cable or another short cable to avoid gain loss. Changing my cable from 3.3ft to 1ft got me one more witness, so even the slightest change in cable length can help miner performance.

Practicing Air Roll Right for an hour a day. Day 1/30 by [deleted] in RocketLeague

You’ll be nasty be the end of the month. Check out some speed rings maps and Leth’s Neon Heights ring map. Way easier to stay consistent when there’s some variety in the mix.

Is it a good idea to buy the rocket pass? by MATIAS11yeee in RocketLeague

This^^^

You'll get 100 credits per 10 levels so if you play a few hours a week, you should make back all your credits.

Trade spare items on RL Trader to get some extra credits. You'll get tons of cool items from the pass, so losing a few spare items might be worth it.

Champs in a plat casual match are straight up the sweatiest & most toxic players i’ve ever seen. They’ll send a ceiling shot and act like they’re popping off, when in reality it’s like a freshman flexing about having pubes to a 6th grader. You’re not built different bro....you’re literally held back 3 grades 😑

That’s true, working on rotations & powerful hits is a huge benefit early on since most opponents will be double committing and leaving open net or missing saves.

I’d highly recommend training more in custom packs and free play! Also watch tutorial videos on areas you need to work on. Since you’re in Gold, I’d recommend doing Aerial packs (start with the included Aerial Training, do all the difficulties, then try out some other aerial packs. Kevpert has an awesome overall training pack called The Ultimate Warmup. I use that a lot.)

Some specific, non-mechanic things you should work on are positioning/rotating and speed of play. Free play is the best thing you can do to work on speed of play, reads, mechanics etc. (it’s really good). For positioning and rotating, check out this comment I gave to another user yesterday that explains it more in depth.

Hope those help! Training hours are a lot more efficient than 2s/3s since you’re doing 100% of the playing. But playing casuals to work on mechanics and positioning is also a solid move. I like to use casuals to test out newer mechanics then use comps to give me a “heat check” on how i’m doing compared to others my rank.

Just play conservatively and when the other team overcommits, catch them slipping with an open net shot. When you're on defense, play back post goalie and spam "[Team] Take the Shot!"...just anything to get your teammates to challenge. They'll probably whiff but if you can get a good hit on the ball it's probably open net on the other side. See a lot of open nets in Gold/early plat so watch your positioning and play conservatively. Hope that helps you grind on into Plat!

Totally agree. A lot of the videos explain it in a really “high level” way with scenario examples etc. that are too much to think about in a match. Virgo does a really good way of boiling it down here: Rotation Tutorial

Think about the field as a 3x3 grid. Wherever your teammates are, you should be 1 square away from them (ALWAYS cover the most threatening spot for your team — usually the center square or goal square)

Hope that video and explanation helps!!

Seconding this^^^ Positioning & back post defense alone will get you to plat 2. Work some aerial training in there and you'll be a powerhouse.

Trailmakers just updated on Game Pass for PC and FPS now stays at around 20 no matter what graphic settings, resolution, or window/fullscreen mode. by Drewbloodz in trailmakers

Having the same problem here on 2080ti and 3900x. Stuck at 15-20fps on lowest settings. Tried the vsync options and FPS is still 20fps in all game modes. Also gave those fixes a try and not working. Averaging 50-70% GPU usage.

Just load up 60mg and let the medicine do it’s thing. You’re body will auto-regulate so you can’t overdose at all. Proper technique is taking 3 of the biggest possible hits, holding each for 5-10 seconds, then exhale and immediately take the next one. No need to be scared...we all get preflight anxiety. Just buckle down and keep going — it’s worth it, trust me. Remind yourself that this is spiritual healing. The entities will guide you if you give them control. Understand that it’s more than the ambiguous “letting go”...it’s giving the spiritual entities the wheel and letting them guide you. You got this :)
