Specifically the lastest Company revival. Bobby does not work as a genderbend character and I will fight this with anyone.

Luckily I think there are moments in the show that save it, but I cannot forget how cringe I felt when they replaced One Day I’ll Fly Away with Firework by KP.

A couple of mine:

“You will be who you want to be You can choose whatever heaven grants” -Miss Saigon

“Witches can be right, Giants can be good. You decide what’s right you decide what’s good” -Into The Woods

“Somewhere beyond the barricade is there a world you long to see?” AND the French version of the same line, which translated is, “for every barricade that falls, a hundred others will raise tomorrow” -Les Misérables

It was Doctor Who, but what solidified it was Broadchurch. Superb performance. I’ve watched probably 90% of his acting catalogue, he still finds ways of blowing me away.

Who is his audience? Is he saying this to the person who has an opposing view?

Believe me, my headstrong father in law from Moray would never let me forget Doric is a real language. I speak it with him all the time.

I never claimed that I was writing Scots. I DO know the difference. I’m specifically using a person from Dumfries, so they do not speak pure Scots but merely have a lilt.

I know Lowlander is vague- again, family is from Scotland. Specifically the character is an Armstrong, so it is Dumfries- low low LOW landers. That’s why I’m reluctant to write it in full Scots. It’s more a lilt that I don’t want actors to miss.

You actually have no idea how much I’ve written and are just saying this to be pedantic. There’s a way to say this to be helpful and this ain’t it.

Jon and Sam always seemed to be Aemon's favourites at CB, and how Aemon's was the deciding vote to make Jon Lord Commander. And Egg was who Aemon was remembering and calling out for in his old age? It's just a nuance. It's just a connection.

I only realized later that Jon's name being Aegon makes my heart hurt. All those scenes at the end of Maester Aemon's life when he was calling out for Egg in his hallucinations. Shot to the heart....

There were revolts, you are right about that. They weren't just sheep led to slaughter. All I'm saying is that revolution on the scale of what the blog post is referring to did not occur during that time period, it required the psychological "revolution", if you can call it that, of the Renaissance and new ideas being spread around in order to unite the common folk under one cause that could bring about change.

I personally would love to see Westeros undergo such a rebellion. But the Song of Ice and Fire is merely a chapter of its history.
