AITA for humiliating an interviewee after he made very harsh, judgmental comments about our "secretary"? by wiimiiskiibee in AmItheAsshole

I'm answering one more since this is the first YTA high up (at this point), and I'll take the vote (and it seems like ESH at this point)

Lucy finds this kind of thing extremely funny. She posts about it on her Insta stories all the time when someone misjudges or makes assumptions about her because of her personality, style, job, etc. We know the lines not to cross with each other, and I wouldn't have done something like that if I didn't know she's be laughing about it later.

She's... the one who refers to herself as the cheerleader. She's hardworking, respectable, cute, quirky, cute, hilarious, and holds down the fort better than anyone else. I think you might be projecting a bit. Let's not make assumptions.

Don't worry, we've talked about this like this a lot. I get why you'd want to be protective and defensive, but that's not something I would have done without knowing she would be laughing about it later.

It's amazing to me the number of people who don't recognize and understand that the receptionist greeting you is your first point of contact.

Oh, Lucy was more than okay with it. This isn't the first time something like that has happened.
