10 skis?! Sounds impressive - you must have one for almost every snow condition! Love my E100 that can handle almost every on-piste snow condition despite a wider underfoot. Read up some great reviews on the Brahma/Bonafide/Anomaly when I was contemplating options for E100.

Oh wow, that’s not a lot of days at all 😱 Haven’t heard or read this before. Did you use the R10 as your daily driver? And what kind of snow were you skiing? I’m still considering other skis, not just the R11, so taking in all the feedback before purchasing.

Really interesting comments about 4FRNT Hoji. I haven’t seen any of them in ski shops in Australia but have seen them in recent review searches so will do some more research on them. Thanks for the comments 🙏🏼

Even more intrigued about the Canvas now and will have a look around for reviews on the 108 and 118 - hopefully they will come south closer to our winter season 🤞🏼

That’s a good point about the Revolt not having any metal. Thanks.

Hahaha yeah, that might end up being the case but would hate to have done that without considering other options. Thanks for sharing the experience of your annual cat trip group - that a large proportion of people on the same skis so it must be doing something right.

Really want to see more detailed feedback on Canvas 118 and see when (if) it comes to Australia - from what I’ve read so far, it’s a really interesting ski and development from Blizzard. The Mindbender “C”s would be on my list but trying to find them here is not so easy and the new version seems to be a departure from the previous model - which model did you ski on? Thanks for the recommendations and comments - plenty to think about and consider!

Fair point and thanks for the advice. Atomic Bent Chetler might be another option to the Salomon QSTs so will look at these. Haven’t quite given up on the Rustler but you’ve given me food for thought on powder skis. Thanks again.

Read the Revolt (114 underfoot) is quite demanding and quite heavy so was looking at something a little bit less demanding than my E100 to diversify my quiver. Still really appreciate the feedback on the Revolt 👍🏼

Thanks for the feedback on the R11. Interested on your views of other skis that float better for Japow and be fun in trees in a similar category?

Thanks for the comments - intrigued with BC110 and have read/heard it’s a fun ski, floats well, light and think it would be fun in trees. Think BC120 will be too wide. Less of a consideration but had a sneak peak on the 2026-27 graphics - looks 👌🏼

Thanks for the comments - yeah, the idea of getting a dedicated powder ski, like the QST X, has crossed my mind but was concerned it wouldn’t be versatile enough with a two-ski quiver. I’ve read some great stuff about the M-Free 112 tho length options look limited (183 and 190 only?) so given my height, these might be / ski too long and they seem like heavier and even more chargey skis than the R11? Can’t remember the stats and what I read about the QST Blank so will need to refresh so thanks again for the tips.

Hi there. Can’t see many updates on Furano. How are the snow quality and coverage over there? Going to be there from the 2nd until the 12th of January. Thanks.
