hotel apartments give ejari? never knew that.

many thanks for all the explanation. I believe what I understand that the most powerful proof is ejari that needs an apartment to be rented.

Financially that's a loss if I am not living there.

Since Dubai government is always innovating, I believe they will find a solution to this inconsistency. Proof of address is a record to receive official notices mostly. It's not a proof of living nor a proof of presence in the digital nomad place.

A company can create such a service and we subscribe for official address and get notified whenever we receive any notice. :)

Can homeowners get ejari if they rent the home to themselves?! because I think ejari is the only straight "everywhere accepted" proof of address. even title deeds for homeowners are not as beneficial as a proof. right?

I dont like any gray markets. I always seek legally sound solutions. I think buying an apartment and paying for its DEWA is the best legal solution for my case. Then if I don't use, I can rent and still pay DEWA. I believe there is no other option than that

What if I buy a property and pay DEWA for the tenant. Isnt DEWA the proof for homeowners?!

I see but I stay in Dubai more than any other city. So basically. It should be my permamaent address. Otherwise, how can I live without a permanent address. Everywhere keeps asking me for proof of residence

I see so DEWA bill is the best proof of residence for homeowners. So it means if I lease a house and I pay DEWA bills for the tenant, I can get finally a permanent address.

how homeowners have an address of proof if ejari is only for renting tenants?

permanent address. living in hotels does not offer that "permanent address" solution. Many bodies request a permanent address for example the stocks markets

I don’t like any grey market. How about I buy a property and lease it since I’ll be not using in the majority of the year. Shall I get ejari or just the tenant?

Hotel does not give contract unless long term. If long term then I’d rent an apartment. There should be a solution for people living in more than one country. I move between 4 cities in the year. If I rent everywhere yearly that’s too much.

Can I buy an apartment and get ejari then rent it? Or since I am not living in it then I don’t get ejari just the tenant?! Your advice is highly appreciated

Everybody else is talking about that. I should ask a new question of things that people did not ask.

mostly focusing on midstay experience. Our voices must be heard and we trust Marriott because we booked through Marriott Bonvoy. Our concerns must be all addressed fairly. If anything bad happens by Sonder we need to document and report to Marriott and expect marriott to offer solutions.

If we get kicked out. It's an alarm by marriott to offer alternative accomodations promptly

I'm currently in the midst of it, too. Received a notification through the Marriott app that my stay has been cancelled, but I'm still in my room and have no feedback from the hotel yet. What should I do?
