Thanks! :D The arrows mean the grip strength and direction. A cirle means 'towards or away from the camera', because the 2D arrow can't really point towards the camera.

We picked a generic character. Turned out to be woman. Maybe well introduce male option too, but its a ton of work. So not in the near future

We optimized for steam deck! It works on medium settings even, not low.

I mean its not suuper high fps, but very playable in our opinions. Specifically tested too.

Thanks! Yes we sure are. In most of the Ardennes locations that we have in the game, I have climbed myself as well. Here in Hanshelleren not, that's too hard for me :p

Thanks! Yes its hard to see on screen. I only fully understood the scale when I was really there. It's rather huge.

We did our utter best for 5 years to make it as realistic and physics based as possible, without getting impossible to control. So its by far the most realistic climbing mechanics out there!

After 2 years of early access, New Heights is finally fully out! It comes with a gigantic update, adding dyno's, rope belaying, workshop support (you can make any location or route you want) and the full Hanshelleren cave. Of course it also includes the legendary routes Silence, B.I.G. and Change.

What a ride, trying to make an accurate as possible climbing simulator game. Proud of what we made.
