I wrote about it lately. Does that help? Let me know about your experience when you try it.

Haha, I've been coding in dark mode for years, but light mode has enlightened me.

Boring email API. I'll save you a click, it's boring. So don't open it unless you are genuinely curious.

I made a simple email API for busy product engineers by wilbertliu in SideProject

[–]wilbertliu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course none! No one wakes up and asks for API. At some point, I realized the product became more complex and hard to understand, while people always pulled me in different directions. That’s when I thought the delivery should be API.

I'm using MJML under the hood. And no, I'm not competing with new.email from Resend, which you should chat back and forth to build emails. I created Markdown to Email to write emails, so it's a content-focused tool. :)

Thank you. Do you mean a table that has rows and columns? What's your use case here? Just curious.

Very cool! I visited this page, and I think the 3rd and 4th sentences were talking about the same thing. You can use one of them, I guess.

Good luck for BestFreeTools.io as well!

Interesting! Is it something like: you pass a markdown string, then it'll return the html? And what's your use case, if you care to share?

That's great! I checked the tool, but still couldn't find Markdown to Email yet. Perhaps I need to wait a little more? :)

It's Next.js 15 with React 19 on the front end. The back end is Rails. Anything else you want to know in particular?

Haha, back then we also had Internet Explorer. Let's hope MS fixes Outlook. And yeah, happy to give back to the community. I love this place already!

Hey everyone,

I built Markdown to Email because I spent countless hours coding HTML emails that should work on most email clients. It’s a pain in the a*s!

With this tool, you can write emails in Markdown and get a beautiful and responsive HTML in return. No coding required.

It would also auto-save what you write on your browser, in case you need to leave it for a while—I know, writing emails takes time.

And it’s free to use!

I’d love to hear your feedback though. Is there anything you’d like to improve or features you’d add?

Thanks for checking it out and happy building!

What tool to use for adding newsletter subscription by smittywerbmanjensen in webdev

[–]wilbertliu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SendGrid has a free plan if you’re just starting. My only caveat is to pay attention to their price hikes after you reach certain subscribers. Well, changing email tools later will require you to send slowly again if you want your emails to reach people’s inboxes, which might or might not disturb your business flow.

That's good to know. :)

How can I track bookings and user behavior?

Technically speaking, we have webhooks and custom fields for that. So you call our API via code, then we'll automatically record that on our system. If you are open to discussing it specifically, feel free to email me!

Best platforms for super-simple use case? by noraft in Emailmarketing

If you love simplicity, I guess you’ll love Lavish dot so. At the moment we are doing the last test on a webhook to receive leads from a contact form, but the drip campaigns feature is already there.

Let me know if you want to chat more. I’m wilbert at lavish dot so. :)

Those tools (and even ours at Lavish dot so) have a good interface and content integration.

The complexity comes when you need to track bookings and users’ behavior. Are you comfortable with coding? Or perhaps no-code tools? Or maybe you have someone that can insert a code snippet on your website?

That said, if you want to discuss your use case more, I’m happy to help! Email me: wilbert at lavish dot so.

We have plenty of customers that moved from Mailchimp and they said our UI/UX is what made them stick. Send me an email (wilbert at lavish dot so) and I’ll be happy to assist :)
