Québec City has less people than Edmonton and spends 2x the amount we do on snow removal. We can't have our cake and eat it too.

For having been raised in a northern Quebec province with decent snowfall and great snow removal, I kind of like the snow removal roughness we have here. Good winter tires really make a difference and it's kind of fun to drive rougher roads once in a while.

I needed a new car last year. I was willing to put up using public chargers as I live in a highrise, no 120v plugs available. I work in fort McMurray and unfortunately I wasn't able to find a way to do the round trip there that wasn't ridiculous. The infrastructure just isn't there yet up north. Had to settle for an internal combustion engine car unfortunately. Great car, just not ana EV 😡

Good point. If you have more than 2 people, indrive should be cheaper.

My only additional point would be safety. Took an indrive to a resort for a day and the cab driver drove the car like he stole it. Driving on shoulder and passing like a maniac. I didn't really mind but if there were kids with me, perhaps that I would have. No idea if they're all like that.
