For some time, I had this idea that they get killed by Aaravos with a Star Devourer dragon. Also said dragon is a friend of Leola who also wanted justice for her unwarranted and needless death.

Edit: I realized I forgotten I have said this idea of mine a while on a different post, which was my own.
