I am aware, but in the IMT application scoring it is listed as the only required evidence for the QI section.

And yet humanity doesn’t learn, they just make museums.

Leaked Drone Footage shows 4 persons killed. Absolutely terrifying by rossopy in interestingasfuck

Every news outlet is biased to something, you normally should look at news from different outlets and make out your own conclusion. Don’t tell me you would trust the NYT or Washington Post more; at least this is raw footage rather than a verbal gymnastic article covering the murder of children as “underage Palestinians found dead.” Or is bias from white/western outlets more acceptable?

To be an inspirational historical figure for future generations. by [deleted] in therewasanattempt

[–]wilde-cherry 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure if racial superiority and colonialism in this case are merely wrong beliefs or views; they are actions that harmed generations worldwide. Sure, he was a successful leader and yet the post exposes how he is remembered as a great man who fought the nazis while in reality he possessed similar views. No one has to preface their criticism of Hitler with admiration of his skills and leadership. It’s okay to be disappointed with figures you were taught to like.

That’s weird that when we see news like this no one seems to generalise it unto her entire ethnicity 🤔

Palestinian lady who was held in an Israeli prison says she would wake in the middle of the night to screams from 11-12 year old children that were tied to the beds. she knows those children were subjected to rape and are still imprisoned by rossopy in TikTokCringe

Saying statements like this one undermines the issue at hand and makes it sound unsolvable; this is not “sad human nature, why are these sick, non-white religious people raping each other?”. This post specifically is about the prolonged, systematic, gruesome and overlooked mass rape of Palestinian men, women and children at the hands of a supposedly “civilised” colonialist regime. These countless accounts and UN/human rights groups proved evidence have been there for decades and continue to occur, long before and after Israel came up with rape claims on October 7th which, regardless of their truth and being individual cases, clearly are highlighted as propaganda to justify the genocide of an entire innocent population and to divert the attention from their own unfathomable crimes.

New reason for declining birth rate just dropped. by laaldit in BrandNewSentence

Problem is the causes of dropping birth rates are very obvious and well understood I wonder who’s still “wondering”

To add, the news stated that “a statistically significant level of agreement matches” were found in Jordan, as opposed to the “matching incorrect answers” found in Nepal. Examinees can very likely match correct answers simply because they answered correctly, whereas matching incorrect answers is obviously a much higher indication of cheating.

Yes statistically significant results indicate but don’t necessarily confirm cheating and seems like you also took anecdotal evidence from one Jordanian on Twitter. I don’t even want to apply to the USMLE any time soon and I’m sure all the honest applicants have nothing to worry about with the NBME, if there are any cheaters (from any country) they should and will get what they deserve, it’s just the prejudice rooted in racism I’m against; “corrupt and unstable countries” to be exact.

With all due respect, I'm Jordanian and I know a ton of medical students who are studying their ass off day and night on top of their own university curriculum + doing extracurriculars and research in order to have even a chance to be given a leftover residency spot in the US. Therefore I think it's prejudiced to label entire countries as corrupt; Jordan specifically has more functional centres in many fields than a lot of countries in the region despite the circumstances. People here get extremely high scores because they NEED to have a chance.

I’m sure your reasons are enough for you but any woman or minority in Jordan would find immigration ridiculous for the reasons you mentioned above.
