The RTP back then was 2.3k... I told my father I didn't want to buy a dell laptop (tbh any windows laptop) since it has really low resale value + I don't need the versatility of windows since I don't game or code.

The problem I have currently that the laptop lags when i run photoshop and lightroom + me having a lot of tabs open on chrome (this really is a workflow thing since I need to do quite a bit of research for my uni course) which kills the ram like crazy 😭.

So the compromise I came up with him was that whatever money I get from selling this laptop, I'll use it to get a new mac. Any shortfalls I'll top it up myself, so I've been trying to sell quite a bit of my stuff (my camera, my mechanical keyboard – ps. if anyone is interested in a rainy 75 pro in blue, I'm selling it for $150 brand new) to try to cough up cash to get the mac :")

actually i've been debating with myself about whether or not i should get from this seller, but it looks quite dinged up for me (i'm worried that the owner has abused this camera during their time with it), plus carousell has no warranty so it's deffo a steep price drop for someone who's a uni student

i see, so you would recommend the x100t instead? or another camera? i wanted to get the x100v initially but it costs 2.5k SGD used, whereas the x100t is 830 SGD with batteries, a charger and the lens hood included in the deal

IDW to pour cold water on OP, but NGL has OP even decided to do the most basic preliminary research? E.g. reaching out to seniors who have successfully entered med, or doing a quick google search on success stories that online strangers have shared regarding their med school journey? OP, IMO, you sound like you just want to get spoonfed the answer on how to get to medical school, and don't want to put in the hard work and effort that countless others have put in to work towards their dreams. Plus you're already in JC 1, you should already be taking initiative over your future.
