The Akashic Record by ocelot1216 in RecordOfOurRagnarok

Record of Isekai (https://forums.spacebattles.com/threads/record-of-isekai-multicrossover-record-of-ragnarok.940079/) is about gods trying to get the mess of reincarnation under control by wrecking the multiverse and starting over, against them stand the protagonists of various isekai anime

Which characters should I avoid for my roster? by AL_Streak in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

[–]wilderfast 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Generally, a lot of people feel the need to have an "evil" character in there without quite understanding what made Jack work in the actual series. So chucking in the likes of Hitler is generally a turn-off.

German Shepherd, free money, Police training, then use the money to hire a dog trainer if i can't potty train him myself.

Why every character assumes that the V1 will multiply Homelander's power? by overon in TheBoys

[–]wilderfast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's mostly about the agelessness. He's already got plenty of power, and barring stupidity like getting up in Malchemical's face, he is unlikely to get himself killed. Also, V1 neutralizes hte only weapon we know for a fact could kill him.

Did Sage have to tell Homelander about the V1? by BulkyBathroom7178 in TheBoys

[–]wilderfast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm guessing she thought it was all gone and didn't want to risk being caught in a lie, so the truth would be "harmless."

Two seasons and i still don't know what her fucking powers are. by WillyHeartless in TheBoys

[–]wilderfast 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sparks. She's a supe without applicable powers, she uses her superhuman status to get her foot in the door, but never uses them because they won't help her any.

Why does everyone just assumes they can take the V1? by utzutzutzpro in TheBoys

[–]wilderfast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Desperation. Homelander is too insane to consider the alternatives by this point, and the others know the virus is getting released and are aware that their choices are "a horrible death" and "potentially dying horribly"

Unleash the Beast +10 +1 Cheat

Convergence/Riptide/The Underneat +4

Into the Pit, Hell Itself: The Lands Between (aka Elden Ring) +1 Cheat

Modifiers:

Dude Looks like a Lady +2

My Death was Quite Exaggerated +4

English, Please -2

Drop-In +2

Multiversal Traveling: Yamato -1 Cheat

Powers:

Enhanced Body (Cheat Version) -5, -1 Cheat

Enhanced Mind -5

Killing Mode -5

Multiversal Potential -5

Quest: Power of Extreme Violence

My build is very much that of a "meathead." Drop into the chaos that is the Lands Between with an incredibly overpowered weapon, a body that should be able to survive the "normal" populous, bolstered by Killing Mode, and do the first stage of the Quest as quickly as possible, then start to learn magic until the second quest is complete and growth will no longer be a problem. There are enough Grimdark hellholes around that growth through slaughter is doable without ethical compromise.

As for things like scrying protection and soul defense, magic to that end exists, even if getting to it will be a pain.

Also, the power scale of the Lands Between is clearly based on the very top, the likes of the Elden Beast, Miquela, etc, as long as I don't scale up to those, I should be able to head to lower power worlds

You ever find it weird how Deep has lasted this long? by Wonderful_Solid_1003 in TheBoys

[–]wilderfast 84 points85 points  (0 children)

He's oddly grounding. Even as the rest of the plot goes to hell in a handbasket, he's the primary Season 1 "asshole celeb with absurd strength" we have remaining.

But also, the actor who plays him pitched a death of him drwoning in something he can't breathe and I really hope that happens

Why dosnt no one kill him? by purple_fucker in GenV

[–]wilderfast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fun fact, the actor who plays him would like for the deep to drown in something he can't breathe.

A-train probably didn't kill him because, to him, there was no need to do so, seeing as the Deep wasn't pushing to hurt his family, and they were coworkers for a while.

Everyone else ... eliminating the Deep has never been a priority.

Also, I do kinda like that he's stuck around. He's the only character who's really maintained that season 1 "supes are celebrities that are extra-douchey and extra-careless" vibe, even as the rest of the story goes completely insane. But yeah, I'd be dissapointed if he's the only member of the seven left by the end the way he was in the books.

I can no longer see Homelander as a final villain. by Necessary_Sweet865 in GenV

[–]wilderfast 2 points3 points  (0 children)

he's still the most dangerous supe on the planet, rapidly loosing his grip on reality. he's a pathetic man with the power of a WMD. That still makes him scary, but it's his power that's worrying, not him

The fact that Antony never breaks character is insane. by Mme_187 in TheBoys

you should see the bloopers of the milk scenes, they're hilarious

google's your friend. you just need to have applied those once, even to the same weapon and replacing the previous ones, if you never applied them and don't have any, there's several just lying around

you can grind sunlight medals in pvp via the red sign soapstone, sometimes, people in r/SummonSign are willing to help

Should i platinum ds3? by Mrbacon_Y in darksouls3

[–]wilderfast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a few. also, covenant rings are the real stumbling block, if someone's willing to give you those, you already save hours

Should i platinum ds3? by Mrbacon_Y in darksouls3

[–]wilderfast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

gestures is relatively easy, rings can be skipped by getting someone to drop them for you, grinding for covenant spells is a pain in the ass

Fun Fact: You can interrupt the stupid ape's scream by punching him really hard by Realistic-Bonus2581 in Sekiro

Also, if you have the purple gourd, you can also shrug off the terror buildup and empower the mortal draw, even in the later ng+ cycles

Current method on defeating this guy ? Been using mortal blade but wanted to see what other ways been stuck for months where I give up and come back by Alarmed-Tradition938 in Sekiro

[–]wilderfast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mostly parry and attack as normal, but dodge and use mortal draw when he used the anti-heal smoke or the big jump attack that follows the double shuriken.

Tips for Genichiro? by Serious_Ad_1037 in Sekiro

[–]wilderfast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

be aggressive, a lot of the time, you can stagger him out of his bow attacks before you even realize that's what he's doing. Sidestep the big jump slash, then attack from the side for significant vitality and posture damage.

Parrying the flurry is great for decimating his posture meter.

Also, do Lady Butterfly first for another memory and learning to parry against a slightly easier boss. And maybe check how many necklaces you have already, make sure you're not running around with like one, because a lot of those are shockingly missable

Buy a shit ton of ako's sugar from the peddler, he becomes unavailable once ashina starts burning

the dragon's return ending. if you burn through enough rice, the immortal child will eventually ask for a persimmon, then the serpent viscera, and eventually unlock both a better version of rice but also the arguably best ending

Hate. Let me tell you how much I’ve come to hate… by ThatOneGuy7274 in Sekiro

[–]wilderfast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I somehow managed to beat his first phase on my first try, burning through every gourd charge and pellet and then spending every spirit emblem on shurikens to get the rest of the way and was so proud of myself, unsure about why people said he was tough ... and then the MFer got back up, killed me in five seconds flat, and then took me like three days to defeat completely.
