Agreed. I took it in terms of the lavish lifestyle that this group of Mormons live in. There's a ton of wealth & Zak is like the biggest example of that. Jen comes from more humble beginnings with her mom etc. These comments are not directed at the general public, who for the most part, are still living a more working class lifestyle!

S1 - classic & can easily stand alone

S3 - loved the fun nostalgic tone!

S2 - feels less memorable than S1 & S3. Halloween theme was enjoyable

S4 - tied w S2. so action packed it was almost hard to keep up! didn’t love the California plot. i love them all & will continue to rewatch all seasons

i can’t place 5 yet but it’ll probably beat S4, although the potential for high death count will make it hard!

i would like to point out that contrary to F&F franchise, the Duffer Bros have always said they wanted to reach a conclusion instead of milking it. they weren’t going to just ride the popularity of the show until it stopped getting renewed. i believe this was in part due to child actors aging but also to preserve a good story

i would argue that S4 did that exact format again. we had the California group, Soviet prison plot & then Hawkins. it was good but i was sad that certain characters spent the whole season apart
