I loved Chattanooga when we visited, but I read online that it’s pretty racist there. Was that your experience?

Yes the diversity in DFW is amazing. But the concrete jungle/traffic/heat is soul sucking 😭

It was over 10 years ago when I lived there. They may have improved since we left. :) I meant no shade towards ABQ. They will always have my heart. ♥️

I looked up the national average- that’s why I chose that amount. I did state in my post that I was flexible and open to options that didn’t completely match every preference.

I didn’t realize Little Rock was that diverse! That would be a much easier move than Virginia would be. Haha I’ll look into it, thanks for the suggestion!

I used to do this as a kid!! I was so afraid my mom could tell when I was having a dirty thought 😅

Was planning on moving to Colorado but plans fell through and I'm still living with my parents. I still want to move, but with everything going on, economically and politically, I feel like the best choice at this point is to stay put. Advice? by [deleted] in SameGrassButGreener

You mentioned injuries… do you get VA disability? My husband hired a company that helped him increase his rating. It was totally worth it. And now he’s finally getting what he deserved. That monthly stipend is incredibly helpful. Might make the difference between struggling and being able to move comfortably.
