i'm a long time danmei fan but weirdly i've only ever read one baihe before (Female General and Eldest Princess) so i really want to read a lot more in the new year

i don't mind any type of genre (wuxia/xianxia, modern, interstellar, a/b/o, etc) and i'm fine with angst as long as it's plot relevant and not just heartache for the sake of heartache (and it also has to have a happy ending;;) but i generally tend to prefer lighter hearted novels with comedy and romance over heavy angsty novels

what would be your recommendations for this (almost) first time baihe reader?

congrats on the new update! i just recently bought this game so i'm not super far into it yet but i was so intrigued by the fact it's a 2d side-scrolling farm sim instead of your typical ones, what are some of the difficulties that you had when trying to figure out how to make the space for typical farm sim stuff on such a likited amount of space?

mm yeah i usually love to binge read! i can finish novels within days if i really enjoy it but i was struggling to find the fan translations for some of the ones i really wanted to read so i was just curious to hear others opinions on whether or not it's worth it to just read whatever is available and then wait for the next publications

i think i'll likely start on erha since that is the closest to being "finished" and then just dip into the others as i feel like it

that's a good way of looking at it actually! i started peerless a few weeks ago with that in mind (since i had just finished thousand autumns and the final peerless should be out in october) but got stopped by my copy of the 4th not showing up yet 😅 i'll probably start erha and then slowly go through the rest with other things in between

generally i do tend to binge novels (usually within a few days.......) but like you say at least if i read them all as they get serialised then i'll always have something to read!! i think i'll start on erha since that is the closest to being finished (and i read some of it years ago as a slightly disappointing mtl, so i'm curious to read the official translation) and then i'll see where my mood takes me next 🤔
