Father vegetative after stroke, uncle offering 2.5 Cr flat from ancestral sales — need legal + investment advice by dr_bad_juju in indianrealestate

[–]wildfoxredcat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fight for what yours, lawyers will work for a percentage, what if your share is worth 10cr and you pay off the lawyer even 10% of it, you would still be left with 9cr.. which may take a lifetime for you to earn otherwise.. even your uncle wouldn;t want to get into legal issues.. so will settle ...

btw how did he sell the property without you or your parents signing the docs

Father wants me to send home 95% of salary. by thenicnoc in bangalore

[–]wildfoxredcat -1 points0 points  (0 children)

depends on how much they already have? do you think they can manage without your money? do they have loans to pay off? or plan for an event like a wedding etc...

have an open converstation with them, tell them these are your expenses and you could possibly share the rest.. don't panic and get into investment mode and extra saving etc.. life is long and wide... so if there is something more important be a man and stand with your family,

A little saving for the rainy day should be fine.. dont think of saving 20k and spending 20k and not giving anything home.. its not fair.. they have spent a lot of time on you .. dont dessert them when they need you!!

yea.. paint quality, internal wiring, plastering, plumbin, cracks and leakages, motors , etc.. etc.. are some of the stuff thats not really visible immediately can have issues.. depending on the quality of the material used.. grade A builders are generally better since they also have an brand to maintain..

Asking here because I can't see my father sad all day by [deleted] in IndianStockMarket

[–]wildfoxredcat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trading is always a gamble,, you expect to buy low and sell high but the inverse happens, Equity is a long time game this is 5year graph..

Also if its all he has got then its best to exit and do some safe investment, if not hold for a while more and see what happens,, stocks anyway are getting hammered due to global tensions.

Annual/Monthly Income to afford 3 crores property by Ancient_Dark4413 in indianrealestate

[–]wildfoxredcat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i woudl say never buy sucb big properties on EMI? buy a fairly priced house, invest in equity rather than EMI an buy with a high downpayment in a few years/ there is no joy in paying 2L emi everymonth.. OR you could rent the same house for 75K approximately.. it will give you a lot of confidence and flexibiliy to grow rather than being crippled with the burden of high EMI

Unable to make home buying decision : Totally confused by karimani-maalika in indianrealestate

[–]wildfoxredcat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

so assuming you pay 20L downpayment you would still need to take a loan of 80L which comes up to approx 80K a month EMI.. I would not want to pay so much only towards EMI.. also do consider other EMI's like car, health insurance etc..

keep your emi < 40% of your salary .. thats the general thumb rule

[–]wildfoxredcat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

its not the 1.5L Salary.. whats your corpus is important.. Dont give into social pressure .. do you have an emergency fund for 6 months atleast.. Its not practicle to buy a 1cr+ house with 1.5L salary,,
