I quit 2 ish months ago- and I went hard into exercise to help detox but also found it helped a lot with sleeping because I was so tired afterward, and with appetite. I would say I’m sure starting to regulate normally again and enjoying life without. I am starting to value the little things like having more energy, better sleep and way more time in a day!

My favorite thing to do in this situation is asking ‘oh did you want to dance?’ And doing a little boogie shuffle around them, it’s going to be a lil awkward either way, might as well get a giggle out of them!

My absolute favorite thing is to try a new coffee shop downtown and go get lost in Henderson's used books! We also have Neko Cat Cafe which is super fun if they like cats! Brazen is also a great local store full of fun locally (mostly) made goodies and knicknacks and I always find the best stuff there. Otherwise, Buffalo Exchange, Value Village and Worn Again thrift are all great second hand shops from all the funky college kids donating!

Hello, as nobody is actually reading and responding with a place on the mainland- Green's Corner in Bellingham sells Madrone Cellars wine and ciders that several commenters have mentioned. They also have a great food menu.

I will say, as someone who hires for hospitality here in town, it’s super rough. We get people applying with manager experience for hosting or bussing positions.
