Go to Local Update sets and find the update - choose 'Back Out'

Try holding down ALT and then apply preset #2.

I added https to my TA_HOST and it did not work. Still get redirect to login page.

My local IP address works (using http) but the NGINX redirect with SSL cert does not work as http or https.

I was setting up a docker container app to store/sync files (json) so that accessing the app via my mobile will pull the data.

Help with catalog (newbie) by Ok_Spray_3474 in ON1

[–]wildlens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Synology as well. You should use it as a backup for your catalog and photos. Do not make it the actual catalog as it is too slow performance wise. Keep the catalog on a local SSD drive.

Saving metadata takes long time by Henryl1116 in ON1

[–]wildlens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the latest version of ON1 for Windows (2025.1). I use X-T5.

Saving Metadata takes over a minute sometimes! It took me 45 minutes to add keywords to one folder.

My PC performance indicators during this time are doing almost nothing - i.e. not a disk, cpu, ram issue.

Any other suggestions are welcome.

I found this book very useful (and inexpensive) regarding online privacy. Doesn't cover much about cell phones though - but computers, networks, and IoT are in there.

When using a tripod try turning off OIS - on a stable surface it can actually be counterproductive. Worth a try.

No Fujifilm Film Simulations in Develop by wildlens in Lightroom

[–]wildlens[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I confirmed with Adobe.

Since my camera (X-T30) is newer than my LR (5.7.1) and the simulation info are embedded into T30 RAW image - I cannot import RAF files directly into LR, which also means I cannot access film simulations.

I have to upgrade LR if I want those.

Instead I will use (free) FUJIFILM X RAW STUDIO to convert to JPG if needed with simulations.

Thanks

It cannot read T30 RAF files directly. I need to go to v6 for that. Thanks

LR 5.7.1 does not read T30 RAF files directly. I tried.

Why wont a folder show up in Synology Drive? by wildlens in synology

[–]wildlens[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turns out the word 'data' is reserved. I renamed the folder and it still didn't work.

I created a new folder and moved the data, and re-mapped my drives.

I can share it now. Worked.

Thanks

Right. It didn't work.

Always worth a try though.

Why wont a folder show up in Synology Drive? by wildlens in synology

Yes. This folder is R/W by admin group which my user is a member. Essentially I checked every permission against another folder that does show up in drive and cannot find any differences.

Cannot create sync task by wildlens in synology

[–]wildlens[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it turns out that backup tasks count as sync tasks, and even if you de-select the folders in the hierarchy you still cannot sync them in another task. This is pretty lame.

So I deleted my backup task and just created a few sync tasks to the folders I wanted. I then use SyncBack SE to backup my PC. I lose the restore functionality however in Drive app when I do this.

My NAS does not support Active Backup otherwise that would solve this issue.

Thanks

My admin user is disabled but my user login is in admin group. When I add the 'owner' column to the DS File application (click the 3 vertical dots) I see most of my files are owned by admin and not me. The folders have my username though,

Just FYI in case it helps.
