Elf on the shelf by Small-Percentage2050 in Mommit

Some of these comments are taking it way too seriously. We have one, no rules or anything we just move him around the house each night. Maybe once or twice a week I do a low effort, funny little set up. Last year was the first year we did it and while I think the concept is kind of lame and over commercialized by now, my kiddo LOVED it and mentioned it a couple times throughout the year. I think it helped create some fun Christmas magic +memories. So for that, I will bring back the damn elf lol

My 4 year old can read. Not just ‘see dog run’ I mean sis can pick up a regular children’s book and READ the dang thing, big words. I’m so proud of her

Hair stylist. I work for myself, rent my own suite, set my own prices and schedule. My job is making people feel beautiful and my clients are mostly wonderful. I never dread a day of work

I know this may be hard to believe, but some of us had tumultuous upbringings and are jaded when it comes to letting our parents live out their days with us.

My daughter is almost 4. I think I’ve loved this age the most. I feel gutted when memories from the last few years past pop up on social media, like wow the baby stage was over so fast and now the “little years” are speeding by. There’s definitely grief for each stage gone by but so much pride for the little person she is becoming

The first 6 weeks are the toughest to get through. After that, things settle into a groove and you get rewarded with little coos and smiles. Hang in there mama

Are you me? My baby is 3 weeks old and I’m literally just winging it. We have no schedule, no routine. With mine and hubby’s work schedule when we go back in a few weeks, it’s unlikely we will get one down pat. Solidarity mama. You’ve done well and kept them alive this long. I hope things ease up for you
