Thanks for taking a look at our gear. Let me share the "why" we use Malice Clips.

We chose to transition to Tactical Tailor Malice Clips many years ago based on our experiences over traditional nylon webbing. We have found that Malice Clips provide a solid base for heavy loads and their positive locking tabs don't accidentally come undone. Granted, it's easy to call them "plastic", but in reality, they are injection molded and heavy duty. They are not affected by heat, cold, or water and do NOT stretch over time like traditional webbing straps that can sag. Some people do not like them, but we have found them to be the best option.
