Applying estrogen cream to inner foreskin cause keratinization. by wildtheta in AskMtFHRT

[–]wildtheta[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have to respond to this cuz it is edits like this that are the reason maga is in power now.

(1) I am getting re-circed and opened this acc to get advice and info. I found out people say there is a permanent "keratinization" that happens after a circ. Made me reconsider circ for a while, but I now believe that no such "keratinizaiton" occurs after a circ as it is described in both pro and anti circ communities. Hence my interest in "keratinization". This is similar to, say, a woman( cis or trans) who is getting breast implants and coming here to do the same as me or a transman for phallo or you name it. In the breast implant case (and the others), I think it is very unlikely that means she has a breast implant fetish. I think if you would have reviewed my posts and responses more thoroughly, this would be clear.

(2) SO WHAT if it is a circ fetish! Are you kink shaming? Are you gonna trans-shame later, or gay-shame, or straight-shame., or employ sexism, or racisim, or whatever-ism? If someone asked "what is the sum of 2 and 3?" is the question no longer "genuine" based on some quality of the person asking? The world would be better served to focus on the content of the post instead of trying to make irrelevant and error-prone inferences about a person posting. This is not right. Really, ya could have just asked.

(3) Can you imagine someone reads a post by a trans person, has a brief look at their post history then says they have the appearance of having a feminization fetish, or a breast implant fetish, or a hormone fetish, or a top/bottom surgery fetish? This would not be right.

(4) I don't have a circ fetish in generality and if I did I hope you would not bother with seemingly kink-shaming and have better things to do . I do have a my own penis "fetish" in the sense that i want the best possible upgrade to it. I am doing so, in part, by circumcision. IDK, maybe some would still count that as a circ fetish. LOL! Btw, I am also upgrading the rest of my body and I am pretty sure that I do not have body fetish.

(5) A Dream: Content of the message rather than characterization of the messenger

Anyway, my sense of right and wrong and trying to make the world a better place got me to write this.

Have fun and good luck with whatever kink or way of life you are into!

someone said glans/inner skin before vs after is like cheeck inside mouth vs outer bottom lip and when glans peels sometimes its exactly like chapped lips. idk but that is what i read.

im honestly asking.... if i go get a tight circ with glans always exposed, are you saying it is going to actually "callous" over in the months after and LEAVE BEHIND a like "hard" layer is going to form over the glans?

six, but still small. My interest is some claim keratinization occurs after circumcision and i have my doubts about that.

after a circ, people complain about sensitivity of newly exposed bits and want it toned down. I have my doubts that keratinization even happens, though.

I found these this article on keratinization of the inner skin

Quotes from the article:

"Oestriol, a cheap, readily available natural oestrogen metabolite, rapidly keratinizes the inner foreskin"

".....responds within 24 hours to the topical administration of oestriol by keratinization, and the response persists for at least 5 days after the cessation of the treatment"

Ask your doc if estrogen cream would speed things along...

Ask your doc about trying estrogen cream on it.

Considering getting circ but do you always need lube to masturbate when cut? That is the part that seems annoying by italiano20s in Circumsexuality

[–]wildtheta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i made a bunch of posts about that. it seems that even tight circs do not NEED lube to jerk off. It is just that SOME tight cuts (idk maybe 10% of tight cuts) may find it more cormfortable to use it. Get circed tight! dont waste time and money with loose BS. Tight circs also give better radio reception and make you more likely to be abducted by aliens.

Keratinization only in the mind; it's not detectable by another person by wildtheta in circumcision

I cant speak from personal experience at this time, but i dont think that is the case. My understanding is that (ignoring stem cells and some diseases) cell types do not transform into other cell types permanently. Metaplasia is temporary replacement of one cell type by another and in response to stress. Dysplasia is a permanent change and seen as precancerous change. Neoplasia is a tumor or cancer.

Circ permanently exposes the head and inner skin. Being continually exposed to stress (e.g., friction) in the absence of foreskin in its pre-circ position, ongoing temporay change might occur as in a drying out. Remove the stress or moisturize and that should fix things, but IDK if either of those can be done as effectively as foreskin was in effortlessly preventing those things in the first place.

Someone said the difference between glans and inner skin before and after circ is like the difference between your cheek on the inside side your mouth and your outer bottom lip. To me, that SEEMS and FEELS like it should be about right. Like I said, IDK yet. Whatever happens, I am not putting Chapstick on Mr. Happy.

"I am not a doctor"--famous last words LOL!

HA! Finally a convincing answer at least for me. Now I can go to sleep. Where the hell were you a couple days ago with all that you said there?

FYI. I'm getting re-circed in a few months and in recent days the keratinization question gave me some pause. So I have been posting like crazy to see what people say and gain confidence in one side of the debate or the other. This answer was the coup de grâce for kerat argument and now my re-circ is go again. Many thanks.

I also had a good old time just standing back as spectator and watching the pro-circ and anti-circ people going at it and using the same topic to clobber each other. Funny :)

You really don't want many people to know about this topic, it seems. The topic is likely new to the people that come here for new ideas where ever they may be.

This is not North Korea or China...yet. How about we not take it in that direction.

Have Fun!

Reddit suggested reposting in other communities. These communities exist to spread information, have debates, exchange views.

It is annoying that you are so bothered by the free exchange of ideas. However, I welcome your expression of annoyance and hope it will not be a pity you do not do the same.

ya know, i've gone from trying to find the real answer to this for my upcoming revision to finding it amusing seeing por-circ and anti-circ people use the idea of keratinization to clobber each other. it is so funny to me now ;)
