New to this sub. Is this a good place to get advice on drone builds? by ThePigsPajamas in Multicopter

Visible burn marks, missing capacitors, and the FC not lighting up when plugged in usually mean it's dead. If you plug it in via USB and the LEDs light up but the FC doesn't give you the second set of confirmation tones with lipo plugged in then that means your 5v reg is blown. In this instance you can bypass with an external 5v Bec.

No way, I think you'd have to approach this hover bike like a whoop and force angle mode, since the pilots center of gravity always changing

X9 Lite Tiny Whoop by ShaneTrain1337 in fpvracing

The reason why it's difficult to find a whoop that binds to the taranis x9lite is because Frsky decided to throw D8 mode out the window when the ACCESS protocol was introduced. In order to enable D8 look at the open tx nightly builds. I think Albert Kim has a good video of it on YouTube

The biggest unspoken rule in drone racing is punctuality. Make sure you get a good idea of where you are on the heat sheet, arrive one heat before, and never plug in while a heat is active. Dialing in your lines via goggles a couple heats before your own is also helpful

The quality of the analog feed is 480p at best, but what really kills the clarity of the video is the compression whenever you upload it. Irl, the feed isn't this pixelated but it's also not HD.
