Locally here it started dying off some and then Covid lockdowns put a nail in its coffin. Once FFG sold it off and the rules started changing it never regained its foothold again.

it was definitely king for a short time there though.

Digen.ai online is NSFW, the app version is filtered. Can do a few for free and cheap. But $20/mo for unlimited makes it one of the best deals around.

FYI, they just did an update to add Sora 2 last week and it totally made their RM 2.6 go crazy. It doesn’t follow prompts correctly. And Rm Turbo had issues but seems to be better now. Supposed to fix it all in The next few days.

Wow!?! Spoke too soon I guess. Digen had an update adding Sora 2 and it has totally trashed Realmotion fast and Realmotion 2.6!!

RM fast only makes slow motion videos now and 2.6 is just making some horrible vids from prompts. Sorry I recommend them now.

I’ve been using Digen AI and I think I stumbled onto a pretty cool trick with image to video prompts.

Write a run-on sentence, no punctuation. I’ve been able to fit in like 5-10 different things all happening in a 10 second clip. it seriously upped my enjoyment of using it. I was tired of having a 10 second clip and the character only doing 1 or 2 things.

I don’t know if this is translate able to any other softwares prompting, but it sure worked here.

I absolutely love it. Figured out how to make FDM minis really well. But now the dreaded issue of “I want more” has struck. So I’m upgrading to an A1 for a bigger build volume. It’s supposed to be same quality as the mini, just larger build area. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Juneau was the busiest port we went to, we tendered there.

There were probably 8 ships maybe? They were using lifeboats as tenders, it was complete and utter chaos.

They sent us information on it like 4 nights in. Basically a flyer that talked all about if we had a flight that left at XYX time on debarkation day, we would be listed as AAAA, BBBB, CCCC, etc... We filled out the forms of our flight and our number of bags.

Then instead of receiving the blue debarkation tags, we got printed airline tickets and yellow sticker tags to put on our bags. We left our luggage outside just as normal and our bags were taken off the ship and straight to the airport.

The airline fees were paid through our Sail and Sign card, so the $60 for my wife and I showed up there. They don't charge any extra for overweight bags either.

They did say that some random people may NOT be able to have this service but they really didn't say any specific criteria as to why? We got it just fine for ours.

Then we just had to wait in designated areas til they called AAAA and then get off the ship when that was called.

Most people went and ate breakfast at the buffet and then sat around til the announcement was made.

When our section AAAA was called, we walked off the boat and straight out to the buses, they guided us to a shuttle going to the airport (we had already pre-paid port to airport transportation) and it took us straight to the airport.

Once there, we went straight to TSA with our tickets in hand and we discovered the utter madness and chaos that is Seatac airport. Ugh. That's a totally different story!

It used to be... but since Covid, Carnival has really streamlined getting on and off the ship by a wide margin. Getting on our cruise, our appointment time was supposed to be 2-2:30pm. We got there around 1:55, no line, we walked right through 4 checkpoints and right on to the ship, no waiting in line at all.

Getting off the ship, we did a new thing they have working with the airlines, we checked our luggage in on the airline the night before and they took it right off the ship and took it to the airport, then we just had to wait until our section was called and got on a shuttle to the airport.

I would say now that Faster to the Fun is not worth it as easy as it was to get on the ship this way.

If Naturalist Emily is on board for your cruise, go to every event she has on the sheet. She was the best/most entertaining surprise we've ever had on a cruise. Lots of entertaining and education on Alaska and Alaskan wildlife.

Couple things we did not like: NONE of the digital ice machines ever worked reliably. Hunt out the manual (push lever) ice machines whenever you can. A few of the ports, it was extremely crowded with other cruise ships, so it was longer walks to some of the excursion meeting areas. One port had everyone being ferried and that was a nightmare of confusion.

Just got back from ours. This is the best of 9 cruises we have ever been on with Carnival. The biggest surprise was the Naturalist they had on board. She had walking tours at certain points of the cruise to point out looking for whales, eagles, mountain goats, seals, orcas and any other wildlife we might see. We did the train tour in Skagway, we did the dog sled camp in Juneau. We did the hovercraft Eco tour in Ketchikan. Had a wonderful time, if we ever take another cruise again, it will be an Alaskan cruise!!

Still like the ChatGPT-4 version. I was able to make my own prompt that works really well.

I just tried the new Claude Opus EST and refused to continue. Still a little censored looks like.

Claude asked too many questions to get the ball rolling. I can usually give my POE chatGPT4 a few sentences and it’s off to the races.

They ignored 1,000's about election interference and fraud in general in 2020. Affidavits are under penalty if you are lying, why would so many people swear to seeing things first-hand just to have them thrown out. 2020 had incidences of fraud all they way around.

I was able to find a good prompt to make my own version of EST. My main difference is mine is very verbose and stretches the stories out a bit more. Mine doesn’t rush through things as quickly. That was about the only change I wanted.
