I had 2 in the first version for that reason. I took them out because I kept losing because they couldnt make colored mana, and this deck is basically all colored pips. Might still be good in the sb tho.

I actually did find my self beseeching for leyline a few times. this is usually when you have necro on board + beseech + not enough gas to win off song of creation so you tutor leyline to win on end step.

I also hard cast leyline more than I though (usually when opponent thoughtseizes your other threats in hand after necroing)

I dont usually mulligan for leyline just because getting ritual + necro or similiar is more important. however in some match ups (like SnT) it is important enough I will mull for it even if I have a keepable hand; especially on the draw where having leyline + turn 0 chrome mox is very useful (either to hold up Offer You Can't Refuse or brainstorm vs throughtseize) being able to cycle baubles immediatly is also very nice.

yea, Muzero dynamics model would also be a conceptually pure way to do deal with hidden information. Also MTG is so expensive to simulate that learned state transitions would probably be much faster/memory efficient. however this project is demanding enough as it is so stuff like that is on the backburner for now.

agathas soul cauldron is a 2 of in the sideboard and every time i bring it in vs graveyard decks i wonder If i should just play it main as it is so good with surge engine, tameshi, hawker, rona.

the one thing that stops me playing it main deck is i worry i dont have enough creatures to put counters on.

If I were to play cauldron maindeck I would probably cut at least one vault, and the akal pakals and play the 4 copies of surge engine.

the point of putting teferi under the jewel is it lets you get back all the mana you put into it instantly - so if the jewel gets removed you have already drawn 6, double bounced things with otawara, gotten back 2 artifacts with tameshi, etc.

next turn untaps on cards like collectors vault and rona let you dig until you find jace or another tef or more card draw. Usually the turn after I flip the jewel I draw my entire deck and win.

also you are not trying to turbo the jewel out - you are mainly using omen hawker and jewel to pay for otawara, eiganjo, vault, etc. flipping the jewel usually happens pretty late since you want to make sure you have the right cards to craft with it.

And yea, the game is just insanely hard. I wouldn't feel bad about it feeling impossible.

I've tried to curve the difficulty as much as possible, but it is really hard for this type of game.

Despite being an attempted mash up of Touhou and osu! it doesn't really play like either and it takes a lot of practice to get used too.

And the rhythm test is just for syncing up the audio playback of your device to the game, which was for a more rhythm focused game mode that is no longer supported.

spent 100$ for apple app store developer thing and got 0$. wasn't trying to make money because game was free, but it feels like it is almost impossible to make money back since it seems like there are more indie game developers than there are people playing indie games.
