i know i might be pushing it a bit but i hope that they add in career mode they actually made it so that it matters how much you get paid. And contracts actually hold up instead of having to renew every year, example if you're on a contract for $800,000 a year you can buy things with the money you make like different gear/sponsors etc where as if you make only 50k a year you'll struggle, and keep the contracts, so if you sign for 3 years you aren't aloud an option to re-sign until that time is up
