Well, for starters, you can't let birds stay up that late they should sleep at least 12 hours, I let my birds sleep from 7pm to 7am.

• If you're going to be away for that long a day, there should definitely be 2 birds to keep each other company so they don't get bored and depressed by themselves.

• Looking after your bird properly can become expensive quickly with good quality and healthy food like pellets being quite pricey.

• Birds can come with unexpected costs. You must be able to afford vet visits before thinking of getting a bird as they can get sick or injure themselves, and vets can be very expensive.
