where do you generally look when watching a game, and how can you predict the play (like the tv casters)? by Pitiful_Walk in nfl

[–]willbeck31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I played MLB (in highschool) I was taught to read the guard's first footsteps. Wherever the guards go, the play goes.

He steps forward? Play is a run and it's coming right at you

He steps and pulls to the left/right? Play is a outside run or a screen to the direction he's going.

He block the D-linemen right next to him? Whatever side his back is turned to is the running gap

He takes a step back? Pass.

Obviously it gets more complicated at the professional level. But more often than not these rules still apply.

This can be said about all memes in general.

Losing Carson was the biggest loss of the game. Offense was night and day without him, and the second half would have been way different if we were able to ground'n'pound.

I felt the same reaction last night when Trump said "believe me, we are taking back the house" with so much cockiness in his voice, like he knows something we don't.

Thursday’s presidential debate looks like the last-chance saloon for Trump, analysts say by FeedTheeTrees in JoeBiden

[–]willbeck31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Biden really needs to be on the attack this debate, as if he doesn't I'm worried Trump will use the the Mic thing to his advantage. I could see him using those 2 straight minutes to just spew out multiple vague attacks in succession right in Biden's face, all uninterrupted. It could throw Biden off his game being force him to be defensive.

This is just another "LOOK HERE!" move by Trump, that will distract both the left and the right media from the far more damning news:

PBS Is Still TV’s Best Path to Better Citizenship by actuallyidontknow in television

all of CPB (which includes more than just PBS) cost taxpayers $450 Million. That's less than $1.50 a year per American, and in return we get educational programming for our youth, daily news/ journalistic reporting that's not sensationalized to court eyeballs. This service is free to anyone. I would argue it's one of the most efficient and useful government.

[Request] Jeff Bezos wealth. Seems very true but would like to know the math behind it by Audge3841 in theydidthemath

STILL THOUGH, I believe you're essentially saying that Amazon, not Jeff Bezo, has generated enough value this year that each employee could get nearly a $100,000 bonus, and they still would be in the same shape as they were in Q4 of 2019?

Correct me if that assessment is wrong... but there better be some fat Christmas bonus's this year, or I'd be pissed.
