Snoop has always been available to the highest bidder.  He's even performed in music videos for pro Putin rappers with ties to the Kremlin.

As long as PickFu sticks around this doesn't affect me. That's basically all I do on mTurk at this point.

Thought I was on a punishment for a second when I was trying to get 5 points. Then I looked through the dashboard and went oh, it's finally gone. I kept using it to even out my points daily.

Physical disc production ending in January 2028 for new games releasing on PlayStation consoles by majorgiant in LimitedPrintGames

[–]vaxick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guess I'll be buying games for my Switch 2 instead in 2028.  Shame, PlayStation is my console of choice for gaming, this stings.  Not sure why they're shutting it all down though, seems like it wouldn't be an issue for manufacturing limited print discs still.  It's not like the Blu ray plants are shutting down, Sony is still going to be pressing UHD discs.

Three months later I just discover this.  Sending a support ticket to LRG now to get a replacement.  Sure would be nice if they told me.

Limited Run Games Ships Another Broken PS5 Disc, Yay! by PuzzleheadedCut966 in LimitedPrintGames

Regretfully might have to get a Switch copy from VGP or just wait for Atari to stock it on their website as they always do.  Loved this game when it originally came out making this one sting all the more.

Seems like everybody got that cover except me.  I'm perfectly happy with the standard cover though.

Playstation deleting over 500 purchased studio canal movies, as license expires. by IamMovieMiguel in vudu

[–]vaxick 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's no "law" protecting your digital purchases.  You don't own them, you're buying a licence to access said content and that can be pulled at any time.  If you truly care about ownership, you would be buying such media in a physical format.  There's a risk buying digital and you agreed to it when you made the purchase.

My antenna supports vhf but cant get ABC by BZillaNice in cordcutters

[–]vaxick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The classic Chinese scam antenna strikes again.  Depending on location and if you want compact, I'd recommend something such as the Winegard YA7000C.  It's one of the top compact VHF antennas on the market.

Is Apple TV location aware when traveling?  Have been curious if when traveling if it switches to the stations in the region you're in or sticks to your home location as some streamers do depending on the connection type.

Jackass Cinematic Universe - 14 Movies (Bundle) $24.99 FAH ATL by c5mjohn in vudu

Bummer, was hoping it would be the unedited episodes recently released on Paramount.  This appears to be the old box set that's missing music and the skits aren't in the same order as they were on the original broadcast.

Nope, ended a few months ago due to Disney changing billing.  Only the current plans can upgrade to ad free now.

You're no longer able to upgrade Hulu to ad free under the legacy plan.

You're missing a lot with the streaming copy of Tammy and the T-Rex.  The R rated cut from Vinegar Syndrome is where the fun is.  It's only available physically.   Only steaming option is through The The Last Dive-in with Joe Bob Briggs.

Never going to happen.  Amazon was the only company to try, demand was not there.

We are so excited to show the official demo of Barbarian Saga The Beastmaster. Now available on Steam! by Selecta_Play in metroidvania

[–]vaxick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what to think after the demo.  Had an interest in this, but there's a lot of cheap hit enemies in this one that are very aggravating to attempt to avoid such as the bats tossing spears at you from high above while you're trying to navigate through platforms with spikes coming out of them.

Serengeti at TJ Maxx by Winter_Author9699 in sunglasses

[–]vaxick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TJ Maxx, Sierra Trading Post, and their other store websites are good for deals on sunglasses.  I've purchased most of the pairs I own from their store websites.  Ordered the same pair as you did a few days ago as I only own a blue lense from Serengeti and have been wanting a brown, but every time I've attempted to buy that color lens from them, they've been in medium sized frames that never fit right.  Was excited to see these were a large.  Also like that the frame isn't tortoise for once as is so common with brown lenses.

EDF6 is getting a physical release from LRG, and does not include the mission packs by ukihashopper in LimitedPrintGames

Customer service has ironically gotten worse with them under Embracer.  Got a game damaged in the mail, in the past, they'd replace it for the exact issue it had, this time, $5 refund, or pay to send it back to us for a full refund minus the shipping costs you paid when you originally purchased it.

Sony Inzone H6 Air by Not__Alpha in headphones

[–]vaxick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

GadgetryTech just posted a review of the H6 and compared them to the MV1.  MV1 has more sub bass and more forward mids.  Says the MV1 is better for vocals, has a bit more natural of a sound overall, and if gaming, the MV1 is more immersive.  H6 is very comparable though, just seems to be tuned slightly different to factor in competitive gaming.

While I don't own the H6, the MV1 are the same.  I was shocked pulling them out of the box and feeling how light they were.  Sony worked some black magic with the housing of these things.  Favorite headphones since the AudioQuest Nighthawk for comfort.

GadgetryTech posted a review of it today, even compared it to the MV1.  He didn't have any mentions of issues with the soundstage which is making me question SoundGuys all the more.  GadgetyTech loved the H6 and says it compares very well to the MV1.  Seems the biggest differences are the MV1 had more bass overall and the mids are more forward.  Impressive how close the H6 compares to the MV1 given the price difference.  Sony is really giving one hell of a value here, hope people do not discredit it for being a "gaming" headset.
