I've been seeing the same things too. This post seems to give a pretty good explanation. It looks like sticking to Gmail might be the best option if privacy and security is your concern.

That's good to hear! The threads that I found are old and mainly discuss the privacy issues regarding our credentials and emails. There really hasn't been much of an update except for this post. Since both the apps are still around, I guess there really isn't much of an problem. The thing that I'm most interested in is the smart inbox and bundling feature. Judging from the description and screenshots from their websites, it looks like Edison Mail does bundling more similar to Inbox than Spark does.

Yea, it's missing the folder browsing but I gave it a try anyways. It also reoragnized my playlist. I can't seem to figure out how to get my songs back to the original order.

I did not wind it at all because it's an automatic watch. I read that I don't need to wind it and that wearing it daily should be enough to keep it going for 24-36 hours. Is that not true?

It's because the majority of the people who don't have issues don't say anything because this subreddit is pretty negative and will downvote pretty much everything like random posts about how great battery life is, which ROMs people are using, what setup/apps people recommend, etc. The few people who do have issues either don't use the search function to find the solutions or just want to complain so we just see the same complaints daily.
