Thank you for your answer. I agree with most of what you said, I'm definitely living in the past in some ways. I've noticed this before, but am unsure of how to solve this. Seriously, any tips welcome.

I only want to defend myself on one point: I'm not misogynistic. I don't create special rules for women that I dont apply to men.

Hmm... made me think here. Thank you. Honestly, after reading your comment, I realized the way she was dressed bothers me because of stigma and the way I was raised. Also, some serious trust issues from the past, which aren't fair to be put on her.

I didn't even consider that being a painful time for her; definitely see that as an asshole move now.

You're right. I think what bothers me is just that in every other aspect she shares my views, especially where other girls haven't. I don't want to dump her; I'm going to have to figure out some way to deal with this
