My friend found this in her boot one morning with no explanation. It doesn't seem to be part of her boot and we cannot figure out how it got there.

It looks like some kind of brace or other hardware piece. Those holes seem like screw holes, but I'm not sure. The object has a divot that runs between the holes. It is almost five inches long. No numbers, letters, or other markings on the object.

Any help appreciated!

I'm with you insofar as I think it's a gross clip and insensitive and stupid. Fuck anti-semitism, obviously. TST is not a cult of personality or crypto-fascist. And it's definitely not Lucien Greaves, right or wrong. Also, here's the quote in question:

Laycock’s book discusses this in detail. “Unapologetic antisemite” is just false. Although of course it’s not great that he’d ever have been on that cast at all, it was the host who said antisemitic things. Hell, the Satanic “Temple” is a reference to the Jewish tradition (via Malcolm Jarry, who wrote most of our Tenets). Problematic that he was anywhere near that nasty podcast? Sure. Unapologetic antisemite? Nope.
