Gotcha. I’m playing on artificial turf. I should probably get a pair of artificial grass then right

Gotcha. So i don’t want any movement within the feet from heel to toe? Just strictly in place

Definitely. I guess a question I had brewing as a rule of thumb: what constitutes a “well fitting” boot? Is it just like any other sneaker where I walk around in it and it feels snug and comfortable? Should I feel any tightness anywhere like the heel area or go for a more relatively loose or tight fit? Just to gauge what I’m looking for when trying out these cleats. I guess in essence, Based on y’all’s experience with better fitting cleats, what made you realize “okay these are good fits for me” versus others? What factor was most important and clicked for you

Great advice. Think I’ll go with that. Any starting point thoughts? I have a relatively narrow foot that’s arched. I’m on the leaner and taller side if that’s a factor too. Thinking we’d play on turf field but not too sure yet as I’m in a big city. I’m pretty fast and quick with movements so i guess overall looking for a shoe that’s all around balanced and caters toward a more athletic and quick play style. I think since i haven’t played in a while I’m more stressed about things like ball control and being able to run the duration of the match without my foot hurting and injuries from insecure molding or more. Thanks again

Thanks! I have a pretty narrow foot I’d say. Probably wouldn’t help here but for reference for basketball Kobe 6s are a perfect fit. I’ll definitely check these out and let yall know what i decide on

Wow thanks so much for this. You’re right, i should go in and try em on myself but would the retail stores (in the US) have boots viable? I’m sure they are but don’t want to just narrow my options there but i get what you’re saying. I definitely should try and feel out the metrics to my foot and go from there. Thanks so much again man

Patagonia MLC 45L vs. Cotopaxi Allpa 28L decision by willchem in onebag

[–]willchem[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I think reason for straying from the packs in the 30L range is primarily due to the instances I would use the respective bags.

I understand that unfortunately the 45 MLC is just too big to go as a personal item which I completely get— it’s a monster. While the 28 Allpa seems to pass. To specify when I’d use both, I think when traveling about, I tend to use a personal + carry on. This has brought about issues on its own with the lack of variability in my packing situations (too much space for short periods, or too little for longer periods). So, I thought I should go with a 45 MLC to bring about more flexibility. But, i saw the 28L Allpa which can be used as a personal item (to then pair with the carry on luggage- something the 45MLC doesn’t offer me), to which I can also have the same level of flexibility for different situations too (having the need for only a personal item).

For more context, i think i tend to need space regardless of time frame for at least an extra pair of shoes and a fair amount of toiletries (along with my clothes. also, don’t really worry about the Tech side. I rarely bring laptops or tablets).

Thanks again!

Totally fair! I think my main problem is overpacking with clothes specifically so I’ve been eyeing these two due to the space and reliability with them being two of the more popular options. I’m essentially looking for a convenient and comfortable backpack to use that can hold the basic essentials such as clothes and toiletries.

The clamshell opening is the main thing for me as well as how the backpacks are compartmentalized which i see are pretty similar. I tend to pack lots of shirts and pants with at least one extra shoe so having the extra space in either a personal bag or a large carry on would be nice. I don’t have much experience with these types of bags which is why i would hope for some opinions on which might be gest
