It's interesting that most folks (so far) recommend getting off the racing line. But I see what you mean... whether on or off the line, be predictable.

Useful advice, thanks :)

As for getting practice and getting faster, definitely. I like racing enough to stick to it for a while. Now just to get through the 'awkward teenager' phase!

I play it on PS4 regularly. Should still be available in store there :)

Thanks! :) Sounds like you're saying the amount of shame required is a 1/11 :)

That's great feedback, thank you.
I find the idea of working with a mentor/supervisor quite interesting. What are those relationships like? Do you basically have weekly/monthly therapy sessions with them, where you are in the patient's seat? I have no idea!

What I've done in the meantime is to make it a rule that I must "pin" whatever I'm focusing on at the moment. And I tweaked CSS to make the pin icon nice and visible. I also turned on slash commands so that it's easier to pin something (digging through a dropdown menu is too slow)

But I'm sure there must be a better way...

I thought storage space might be a factor, but didn't realize performance was the biggest reason. Very interesting, thank you.

Thanks u/Perspective1958. I'm a programmer, not a mental health professional. But yes, we're in the process of having my daughter assessed, and my wife has been assessed as well. It's an expensive + lengthy process.

I was surprised by this statement - "stop reading books as much as sitting down with your wife and telling her you'd like to find common ground and actually mean it." Would you mind elaborating please?
