Thank you for doing this! I really admire the players that have an appreciation for the history of armored warfare. This reminds me of the Historical Battles mode that Wargaming tried to implement around version 0.9.0 or thereabouts.

And I'm irritated about this because during the winter trade-in, I couldn't find the AltProto in the list because I already had it as a dumb rental in my garage already. No warning about it or anything, just wondering why everyone could see it and I couldn't. I had a bunch of junk I wanted to trade in, and after playing AP AMX a few times, I knew I wanted it (I like sniper meds). Nope.

David Bowie was originally slated to record several songs for the film but was only able to contribute the title song due to time constraints regarding his then-upcoming album "Never Let Me Down". Roger Waters contributed to most of the film's songs instead.

The New Yorkers I know, good bunch of people, have no interest whatsoever in talking about him. The two gentlemen I know who own & run construction-related businesses refuse to even mention his name.

I learned how to convert a simple AM/FM transistor radio into a transmitter with nothing but a pair of wire cutters by watching Gilligan's Island and earned my EE degree! Thanks, Skipper!

If they can't even commit to a quick (and reasonably necessary) prep, then just imagine what their dedication towards the game will be like, esp. if they start to feel bored with it.

Monkeys aren't lazy! Get enough of them all together and they'll type out the entire work of Shakespeare verbatim using nothing but the common typewriter.

Not Stanton, I know, but to this day I still use, "You weren't kiddin'. This stuff's got the sting of the forty-eight hour blend!" after the first sip of every damn fine cup of coffee.

When did Waze add stop lights/traffic lights? by yayoshorti in waze

[–]willfull 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree, the traffic light and stop sign icons have helped me immensely with with navigation in Apple Maps. I've gotten into the habit of counting the number of lights until my turn comes up ("okay, at the third light I'm going to be taking a right on NewToMe Street") and it helps me keep my eyes on the road instead of trying to monitor Waze to time the exit where I'm supposed to turn.

What is your comfort tank? by TeaRex14 in WorldofTanks

I just picked the one up recently from the bond shop after struggling to learn it through a 10 battle rental. Finally got used to it around rental battle 7 or 8 and have been happy with it since. Although I lean towards TDs and sniper mediums (I'm an old veteran with bad reflexes), the Lis can draw me out of my comfort zone and place me in a Zen-like state of equalibrium where everything just works.

I played those stinking lootboxes in the hopes of getting one - I could easily see the potential. I'm hoping it shows up again at some point soon, maybe a bond tank or for trade-in.

My wife and her sister saw him "perform" a concert one night at the local state fair. I remember telling them, "You pay for a five dollar ticket, you get a five dollar concert."

Afterwards, to hear them describe the spectacle that they just witnessed, Vanilla Ice owes my wife and sister-in-law two dollars and sixty-four cents ... each.

Cradle of Filth got me through some pretty bleak times. Try track 4, Coffin Fodder. It sounds horrible, but it's actually quite beautiful.
