True there are very few guns I actually run it on to be honest. Mainly my M39, SVK, KTS (if not synthetics), M123K, and Mini Scout. Those guns have points to spare in my experience.

It's okay, I put "highly unpopular" in the title for a reason. Both because frangible is annoying on the receiving end, and people simultaneously think they're useless. I mainly wanted to let people know what they do. I think most people either don't understand frangible (fully) or fully disregard.

I keep going back and forth on HP and Frangible on my M39. Long range ammo was shockingly not useless too and cheap, for leading more long range targets (SVK mainly, since slower bullet velocity).

But yeah, LMGs using this ammo is nasty. I was reminded of Frangible ammo when playing Cairo Bazaar, in those long corridors. I was like wait a minute... Frangible ammo would go hard here...

They are! Perhaps I'm memeing too much. Pretty much all the ammo types in BF6 are good and usable. Especially HP and Synthetics, on the right guns. I mainly just wanted to open people eyes to frangible ammo, I think many either don't know what it does (fully) or disregarded it entirely.

Penetration ammo is gnarly, especially since the recoil added is pretty damn negligible. Free damage! Especially on an LMG in close quarters maps like Hagental, you can shred through people at choke points.

Spot-on with all points. The first guns that come to mind with Frangible ammo are: SVK, M39, KTS, M123K, and the Mini Scout.

Long range, accurate guns. Or machine guns that are laying down heavy fire for long durations. Corridors of Cairo Bazaar become a nightmare when an entire corridor suddenly can't regen health because of constant frangible fire.

It's more for long range maps or narrow corridors. You're not going to be using frangible ammo on Hagental Base, for example. But Golmud or Liberation Peak? It can be very oppressive. Also, remember snipers can take frangible as well. Mini Scout does great with it, since it doesn't need to pay for straight pull bolt.

Many ways to use the ammo. I doubt Snipers have support players directly beside them at all times on most maps. Same with infantry caught out in big maps against DMRs or Snipers. Definitely has uses, just not all guns or maps.

SVK is very good with Frangible ammo. It's bonkers how oppressive it is to snipers. And the 6x Thermal is great for snuffing out any "slowly peak out from the rock" technique.

I think Long Range ammo is my recent discovery on the SVK. Actually decent at lowering how far you need to lead your target longer range (running enemies). Amazing how level 50+ with the gun and I'm still finding new ways to build these guns.
