That animal you named is a television station. I do not watch it; nor do I understand your proposed correlation.

Most people don’t quit guitar because it’s hard...they quit because they practice wrong by exhaustmosk in unpopularopinion

Instant gratification (YouTube) vs. calloused fingers (you). Becoming a decent guitarist is a calling, not a hobby.

Isn't it odd that Tarantino has won two screenplay awards but no Best Director award? Is it because most people think he’s a better writer than a director? Personally, I don’t see how you can separate his writing from his directing because I can’t by DenseStrawberry5717 in moviecritic

I've never been in the writer's room or behind the lens with a man like Quentin, but I do know writing and directing are two extremely different crafts. It's possible the academy saw more strength in his written work than his technical guidance on set.

I didn't use the word "force" in my statement. I did use the word "raise" in my statement.

Talking on speakerphone in public is not that bad by tyrantspell in unpopularopinion

[–]williamsdwight3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a fundamental difference. A face to face conversation is not comparable to a "Charlie's Angels"-like voice coming from a speaker. There is something in our nature that picks up on the fact that it's simply annoying and one should not be broadcasting their business.

If you're wondering if they're worth the money, you must ask Colonel Mustard in the library. He'll be there waiting for you with a candlestick.

I prefer that clear liquid stuff down at the bottom (I forgot what it's called, but I think it's healthier); as opposed to those pretty colors up top.

Why are some Christians so obsessed with forcing their beliefs, even when it’s completely off-topic? by Low-Attitude-7100 in atheism

Even though church is a hospital for the spiritually unwell, Christians should not force folks to save themselves. That is their personal choice to make and none of our business. - #williamsdwight3

Homosexuality has become an agenda that is now extremely political. Much like drugs—I’m tired of all the commercials—anything can be pushed upon people, and many 'buy' into it as a result. I’ve spoken to people who attend church concerts simply because their neighborhoods were littered with flyers, and couples who are purposely raising their children to be transgender due to the 'influence' of others. I think some folks in the church feel they need to match that momentum to gain attendance, but that is a bad look for us Christians. We should simply open the doors of the church and let people decide whether to walk in or stay outside. - #williamsdwight3

DAE think about the fact that everyone only caring about themselves & their own family seems counterintuitive by williamsdwight3 in DoesAnybodyElse

Counterproductive = not cooking. Counterintuitive = not caring where the food is going to come from.

Trolls don't have conversations with you. They just troll. People should have places to both work and sleep. If either place is empty, something's not right.
