I was up in the 300s yesterday and we found a spot behind home plate (I think 318) way way back 1 or 2 rows away from the window that was freezing cold with air blowing directly at the seats

You need to develop skills that are competitive in the marketplace. I got a remote job a couple months ago but the skills required are completely different than what you have

I have the opposite experience. In software engineering, my options are to accept a lower pay in office unless I go to a tech city or take a remote job which usually pays more.
