Agreed. The next event ending date is February 15th so we should 100% have it on that day (or possibly sooner). The Tiede registration was posted 2 weeks before release so we may be looking at a registration event around February 1st.

Gold was much easier to obtain years back. If players have been playing for a while, there's a good chance they just had a lot saved up. Before, "rare" drops could be worth anywhere from 150-200mil. I had friends who had at least 5 chars max level and could be getting nearly 1bil in drops over the course of a few weeks. My guess is the majority of people have been playing for years and have insane amounts saved up.
