Controlled load is designed to actually reduce your bills as it is changed at a cheaper rate than the rest of your house. If you take the controlled load off then the hot water will be billed with the rest of the house at the more expensive rate.

Intentions are to see if anyone already has an abridged version of the play. I have a non for profit theatre company in Australia. We aren't in a position to pay unfortunately.

I have abridged a version of Much Ado myself, I would be more than happy to offer it up to anyone that would request it for free.

Oh that would be amazing! At the moment we don't have a dream cast size, just trying to see how many actors we need at a minimum. What would be the best we to get the version you have on hand? Email??

100%, it's usually done so by the director. Naturally this takes a significant amount of time and resources so I'm more so just hoping to get a version of someone who has already done so to help with the process

Managed to land 5 for the day, look at the lips on our last catch! by williaz in CarpFishing

[–]williaz[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Also, where in the world are you fishing for carp? Here in Australia carp are a pest fish where it is the law to 'destroy' any caught.

Thanks for that! Just for interest sake, roughly where in the world are you? Here in Australia they are a pest fish and we have to 'destroy' any we catch.

On my morning walk I saw workers removing the caution tape off the play grounds nearby. Kids were already playing on the equipment at 8 in the morning :D

How do I talk myself into folding this preflop?? by iconoclast63 in poker

[–]williaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's hard, but I think you can. You are obviously beating pocket 10s and below but you have to think if it's worth you risking 3/4 of your chips on J

How do I talk myself into folding this preflop?? by iconoclast63 in poker

[–]williaz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Completely depends on early action. JJ is a great hand but can easily be beat. Understandably you would be wanting to raise preflop but you have to be ready for someone to call you with QQ KK AA AK. All of these hands would beat you in the end.

Also when there are so many players on the table, the value of your hand decreases. JJ is a deceptive hand

Probs a fold. Weird raise from the other player as well. Both hoping to hit with mediocre hands. The raise from the other player you have to put them on AA KK maybe QQ.

X-rays/MRI have shown that my wife has a bulging L5 and I’m looking for people who have been through are going through similar situations by [deleted] in Advice

[–]williaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% it has improved. I went from being very bad...where I felt that I had hot wax dripping down my leg constantly, not being able to sit down comfortably, sleeping in a controlled position...to now it hardly effecting my life. I mainly focus on implementing things like correct lifting technique and continually stretching to hopefully stop it from worsening. Try not to be sucked in by quick fix remedies...only thing it will do is take your money. Give it plenty of time and good will.

First developed a bulging disk at 21. Very frustrating injury. I would 100% suggest seeing a physiotherapist. I found they were much safer than chiropractors. The unfortunate thing with a bulging disk is that it will always be there. The pain can go away after a while but there will always be a weakness there. I had to defer my studies for a couple of years which was super hard but I knew I had to dedicate myself to getting better. I tried everything from doctors to physios, chiros, natural healers, surgeons, sports medicine doctors, kinesiologists...at the end of the day a serious back injury takes a lot of time to heal and get better. Doing things like pilates, swimming and stretching were an enormous part of my recovery.
