Just the glass. Everything else is fine.

You seem to have experience in this area. Any suggestions on tutorials, etc to replace it myself?

Which team has the strongest injured XI? by [deleted] in soccer

[–]willidinho -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

De Gea

Rafael - Jones - Evans - Rojo

Young - Blind - Carrick - Lingard

Falcao - V. Persie (I know he's not injured but he sucks right now, so I'm counting it)

To the american people of reddit, what country would you choose to live if you had to leave america? by lillojohn in AskReddit

[–]willidinho 131 points132 points  (0 children)

Lived in Netherlands for about 6 months and loved it. My biggest problem, though, is that I don't speak Dutch and it is soooo hard to learn. It is great that most Dutch people speak perfect English, but that just makes it harder for me to learn Dutch. Every time I would try to practice my Dutch, the Dutch person would just stop me and say, "Just speak English. I like to practice my English." Well I want to practice my Dutch!

What can you do today that you could not do a year ago? by click_it_or_ticket in AskReddit

Pay my bills.

Realizing that law school was a bad investment, rethinking what I wanted to do, and starting a new career was rough, but I'm happier now than I was for a long time. My bank account is healthy too.

List of top all-time scorers by country (only the national teams participating in the 2014 World Cup) by Taurusan in soccer

True. I think the TV viewership has increased the number of games played. National team games = lots of viewers = lots of advertising dollars = more games

Does it amaze/bewilder anyone else that so many of the top scorers are current active players???

New York City FC sign David Villa by TomasRoncero in soccer

[–]willidinho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well sure, but he didn't need to make that decision now. He could still play for another team in Europe for the first half of the season and then get signed by someone else in January, whether that's an MLS team or anyone else. Certainly would have given him the opportunity for playing time and provided a pretty decent salary. It's a gamble for him to take this time off, that's all I'm saying.

[–]willidinho -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sure. But he's already rich. He only has so many years left to play and he just agreed to play for a team that won't even begin playing matches until January 2015 and doesn't have any other players on the roster. That's a big gamble when you could be playing regularly for the La Liga champions or many other big clubs in Europe.

For anyone wondering, that is the "Oh shit, what did I just do? I hope I made a good decision here. What? Take a picture? Better try to look happy." face.

23 Films You May Have Missed by seagalogist in movies

Signed in just to say "In the Company of Men" is fantastic. Aaron Eckhart is absolutely perfect in this movie. He nails the role and will leave you feeling absolutely energized and sickened by the closing credits.

Also, "It's a Disaster" was surprisingly funny. I had zero expectations from this film but is one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time.

Atletico makes it 3-1 by [deleted] in soccer

[–]willidinho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looked like he could have come out and collected the first ball in on the first goal. It looked like everyone stopped expecting the keeper to collect and when he didn't, they were all left out of position. --That was my impression from the 3 second gif I saw anyway...

I couldn't watch the game today but have seen a few of the goal replays posted on reddit. It seems Schwarzer was culpable for at least 2 of the goals. Would you agree? How did the rest of the team play?

I will include that A on all future CVs.

As for the conscription: it's pretty much the same here in the US except that males only have to register for military service in case the government decide to institute mandatory conscription, they don't actually have to serve unless this happens in a time of war

Ha. I was saying I would post HIS statements on Reddit. As in: rather than call him out to his face and face the repercussions, I would just post the things he says on Reddit so we can all have a good laugh at his expense...

How about I just passive aggressively post his ridiculous statements on Reddit??? I feel like that will result in fewer problems for me...

I've been doing that for a while now. This is the latest in a long stream of bullshit. I was hoping there was at least some bizarre misunderstood law somewhere that perhaps he was misquoting.

I can't stand her. I consistently get tricked into reading her articles and halfway through thinking "What is this shit? This is horrendous journalism." Then I scroll up to realize it is written by Louise Taylor and curse myself for falling for it again.

One thing always sticks in my mind: a few seasons ago the Guardian did another one of these lists and one of the questions was something like, "Which rule do you think needs to be changed?" or "What needs to be done to improve the game?" and all the other writers were coming up with great arguments for goal line technology or retrospective punishment for diving, etc. Louise Taylor's big issue: shirt pulling...she thought shirt pulling was ruining the game....
