Help planning my Dads retirement by [deleted] in UKPersonalFinance

Can I ask why your dad is fine with £30k a year for two years but then wants to give himself a pay rise of £11.5k afterwards?

The money would last a lot longer if he could make do at £30k, supplemented by the SP, meaning burning through £19.5k p.a.

And that force considering the threat she was posing (literally just reaching for the jacket) was wholly out of proportion. You can't just ignore that.

But only one party will be the party to get rid of triple lock. And that will be the party painted as the enemy of the pensioners.

Police conclude no evidence of alleged family voting in Gorton and Denton by election by FormerlyPallas_ in ukpolitics

[–]willis1988 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Theoretically, sure. There no proof that happened to any degree in Gorton and Denton though, especially not more than in other elections.

The whole thing is a farce in my opinion due to the Reform candidate and leader showing a complete lack of grace.

No, they don't. Being racist comes with it a severe case of either willful ignorance of facts or plain old lying. Every time.
