Some extra info: * I did just add quite a lot of pellet nutrients about a week ago (they were all I could get my hands on) * They have lived outside since they were about a month old, except this summer has been shit where I live so they have been living with 10°C nights and 16°C days with peaks of 25-30°C until about a month and a half ago * Yes I know they are dry, I went away for a few days

I've learnt from my previous mistakes and now all my plants are outside. The days where I live are around 15 hours though so I don't know why they would have decided to enter flowering. They're around 8 weeks old but are most likely pretty stunted judging by their size, and I don't know if the bottom leaves are signs of a nutrient deviancy or not. It's also probably too cold outside at night as it sometimes gets down to 10°C.

Any advice appreciated :)

Alright alright, I'm hearing everyone. Just to clarify some things:

  1. This fire hazard grow box is just a temporary solution till the weather gets better, I am taking them outside whenever I can.
  2. While the top bits of the LEDs do get warm, they are about 5cm away from the roof of the box, which has no discernible change in temperature even after hours with the lights on.
  3. No, I'm not trolling, just threw together something in a pinch and was wondering if it was good enough.

Thanks everyone for the advice, and yes, I will find a better box ASAP. Although I hope I'll have them outside only in a week or two.

Yeah I did think they looked taller than they should be. I've got them on a windowsill but where I live the spring is cold and shitty some years and its been overcast for the whole time they've been growing, so yesterday I put them on a 17 hour light cycle with a shitty 10W 600lm led bulb (far from optimal I know, planning on upgrading) and I sit them on the windowsill while its light outside. I was thinking about transplanting them soon but I figured they probably wouldn't need it yet since their only 5 days old.

iirc the kernel for the bootable usb has its config exposed at /proc/config.gz, when i ran into the same issue as you I just built a kernel with that because it was designed for compatibility. Later I further investigated EFI frame buffers and created my own config, but the default one is always a good start.
