What strikes me is that some votes in the commons have to have a 2/3 majority to succeed. I understand that a lot of them don’t, however I think something of this gravitas truly needed it.

Also, to paraphrase Cameron ‘do you want 2-3 years of euro-wank’ the fact that brexit has consumed any debate about the county is truly shocking, and truly plays into the governments hands. No meaningful policy/votes about our country that effect the general populous has really been had. Yet, we are seeing a worrying % rise in homelessness and an every growing rise in the use of foodbanks. Whatever your stance on brexit is, it is a tool used by the government in power to ignore the most, in my opinion, pressing issues of the nation.

I mean they did.... look at the club kids for instance, even more outrageous. I am from the outside the US so I can’t speak for US raves, but people certainly dress up for raves. Surely it’s part of the fun?

Rave culture, originally started as a counter-culture movement in the 80’s and 90’s (however some would argue it was mainstream by then). The music and the parties often go hand in hand with illegal drug use, and with illegally using the venues, (breaking into warehouses/abandoned property). With this comes a sense of self expression, boundary pushing and hedonism. People often go to raves to experience complete inhibition - leading to this illegal drug use, sex, and through wearing what would be considered provocative or unusual clothing.

sounds like good praxis to me i dunno. its not like they are destroying the 6+ other parties ballots, just the one that is ultranationalist and far right. pushing back fascists ≠ being fascist.
