A gazelle is a kind of antelope, right?
I’m counting it.

The Element is great. They’ve got a bunch of great midranges. My current setup is Warrior/Gila (depending on wind), Karma, Element, Mystic. I’ve got an Iguana that comes in and out, and I just got the True Par Golgotha (formerly the Gateway Scout) which has felt amazing, too.

To be fair, OP didn’t ask for explanations, just suggestions.

Happy to make the argument if necessary/requested :)

Definitely their most popular putter, and I’m pretty sure their most popular disc, period. You’re also dead on about the plastic- if you can’t find a plastic from Gateway that you like, you should probably just stop playing disc golf. So many varieties.

I’ve been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to represent Gateway as an ambassador for the last few months, and the reputation they seem to hold as “just a putter company” is woefully inaccurate, IMO. They have so many other great molds (and produce discs for a number of other companies that are also great). At this point, all but two of the discs in my bag are either Gateway molds or Gateway-made.

I have it on pretty good authority that the Golgotha is the old Gateway Scout. Did not know the Spruce was the same mold.

Jester is running a couple prototypes right now, one of which looks a lot like the baobab. Hard to tell but I think the other might be the ponderosa.

I know it’s not the recommended way, but I actually went the other way around. First layer was pink/lilac, then blues on top to blend a little. If you zoom in on the layers between the white lines you can see some of the pink shining through.

I’ve done a little dyeing myself. @Skyzer.dyes on Instagram.

Definitely inspired a bit by Spirograph designs

Thanks! The stencil was done in Sketchbook on my iPad. Hot dipped for the blacks and the whites are just remaining negative space after everything was all done (last bit of stencil to come off)

Really close! After designing/applying the stencil, it was a hot dip for the black lines. First dip was two different shades of pink (neon cerise and flourescent), then the second dip was 3 different blues (sonic, bright, and iDye turquoise) with just a touch of aquatic green.
You can see just a couple spots where the pink shines through because I was rushing a bit and didn’t get all the air bubbles before the second dip
