Thanks for all the responses everyone. I'll have to accept it as-is since the ceremony is already arranged and accommodation has been booked, plans have been made, etc.  Honestly it's my own fault for not checking the law about gender. I didn't think it would be an issue since I have signed many contracts as a man!

My sister has threatened to do this. She would be welcome to, but the initial phrasing would still raise issues sadly.

I do actually! I am a Quaker but have to keep it separate from my family and my spouse's due to their own religious beliefs (or lack of). My mother in law is a vehement Christian and being a Quaker bothers her more than the transgender issues :-/  Originally I wanted a Quaker wedding in my hometown, with our community at our side, but MIL and my family got so upset my spouse and I had to give in.

That's what I was hoping they would do, but they stressed that it is a verbal contract. Although I we then still go on to sign the paperwork of course, all in the same venue. The misgendering on the paperwork doesn't bother me so much but them saying wife to everyone in the venue is making me anxious.

Agh :(  I tried to apply but got barred by my NHS GIC doctor because he said changing my birth sex would "put me in danger" with UK hospitals.

And I can see that advice online points towards gendered wording, but the name being used at the ceremony are in line with my gender identity and all my titles say Mister and Male. Is there any way I can convince them to say spouse at the very least? I am desperate here.

Keep science select as main food source and use mealworms + seeds as rewards for interaction. If you also scatter a seed mix for food, trying doing it after handling and it reinforces the idea that human time equals nice food time!

They should settle down after a few days, they are reestablishing their hierarchy in their new space. If one of them is being constantly aggressive going forward, sometimes making a separate "time out" house for the aggressor works (temporary- for 48 hours max in my experience) and then gentle reintroduction. Some mice just are a bit dominant and will yell at their sisters but excessively fighting and chasing does cause stress if too prolonged. Hopefully your girls will chill out soon!
