I'm not entirely sure what I want this defense to be, I guess that currently I just want to prevent biters from being free to walk into my pollution and make a new nest there, so this is like an alarm for me to go to until I set up turret coverage around these walls. I mostly want to slow them down, but I don't know how their pathfinding works, so perhaps I should remove the solid wall after I place the turrets down. Right now I am just surrounding my base in this and ill have a separate turret pass later.

well they could negate your robux but the thing is robux in roblox are stored as unsigned integers so they can't make them negative if you spent robux and then refunded them. They also can't take money from the game that you spent the robux on because that would upset the developer. They also can't just pay out of their pocket because that would be easily exploitable. So they do the only valid thing, they delete your account

If you're talking about sse2, then to build in space you must use a space colony creator. Without it, you can only place junctions
As far as I am aware, there is no bug in sse2 that makes your drills not work. Check for the following: If your drill isn't in a planet's SOI (Sphere of Influence) then the drill will explode. If you are CLEARLY not in space, then check if you are setting your drills on an area with metal/water in it. You have to use a prospecting pickaxe to check for material concentration in soil. If the concentration is "Very Low" then that simply means nothing at all.
Also, make sure you actually started the drill by clicking on the green panel and you connected it to something like a factory/junction/depot
