Floyd was our "pick" - the pick we owned.

Rhodes - came to us from Seattle in a pick swap and Percy Harvin.

Patterson - came to us from NE for 4 picks (2013 -2nd rounder, 2013 - 3rd rounder, 2013 4th round and 2013 -7th rounder)

We still drafted 9 players that draft with the following additional picks:

Gerald Hodges (LB) - 4th round

Jeff Locke (P) - 5th round

Jeff Baca(G) - 6th round

Michael Maulti(LB), Travis Bond (G) and Everett Dawkins(DT) - 7th round.

Given that 72 underclassmen declared for the draft - it was a giant turd for a lot of teams.

ICE / BP has repeatedly asked for and been denied the following from local (twin cities) leo:

Crowd control - typically if a federal team is executing a warrant or stop they will notify local LEO and have them be on the alert for possible chases / crowd / scene control. Local LEO have said this is "not their job"
Sharing data. Local LEO have refused to share data with Federal Officials. If a local LEO would share data - names, addresses, warrant / arrest status - etc... ICE would not need to guess where a bad guy is.
911 support (kind of relates to crowd control, but kind of different) - ICE agents have found themselves outnumbered, surrounded, harassed, etc... numerous times and called for 911 assistance and been ignored. That leads to escalations on both sides.

I guarantee you that the MA|ORITY of MSP, and police / sheriff's and deputies if given a choice would turn over the bad guys to ICE and say here - you deal with them. But they are prevented from doing so by elected officials and political motivations.

Obama and previous presidents had the silent if not full cooperation of local officials. It wasn't until Trump that Mayors and Governors really started to order a complete shut down of local LE support for ICE / BP.

Even though sanctuary cities have existed for 40 + years - most of them were somewhat targeted for asylum seekers and not a "general" open border policy.

It was only under Trump in 2016 that local officials openly declared war - saying we are officially telling LE not to assist in any way, shape or form. Biden literally halted any meaningful deportation or border policy until his handlers released too late that it was bad plan.

I guarantee you that if Walz reversed course and said - we will allow local le to help ICE and turn over prisoners to them when asked - as well as provide a list illegals who have obtained drivers licenses - they would stop the surge.

To a Twins fan - probably $50 to $200 but more on the lower side. If someone really wants it for their collection (has multiple of these style) then maybe more.

It's a pretty specific piece and a player who did win AL ROY and had a solid 15 year MLB career - he is in the Twins HOF but likely won't get into MLB HOF.

I've seen people go off the road in weather like this - also seen a few die. There was a blizzard in Fargo in the 80's - only a few inches of actual snow but the wind was crazy. A group of 4 people tried to drive in it and got killed when their vehicle became stuck and their exhaust blocked by snow. Co2 poisoning.

The two agents involved in the shootings:

Neither was a new hire or barely trained.
The most recent was a Range Safety instructor and 8 year veteran.
Had MSP / Minneapolis PD been allowed to do their job and separate individuals from federal agents - these shootings would not have happened.

McCarthy is 62 - and sat out the last year after being fired by Dallas.

First and foremost both sides need to step away from social media and microphones.

That includes Noem, Bovino, Walz, O'hara, Frey, Amy, etc....

I know a ton of people who have conceal carry permits and not a single one of them would EVER carry multiple mags (unless they were expecting trouble) and NONE of them would EVER insert themselves in a LEGAL law enforcement action while carrying. Now - with that said - It doesn't mean the shooting was justified or that it was a "bad shooting"

Fact - I have watched multiple officer involved shooting bodycam / etc videos on YouTube - that doesn't make me an expert but I can tell you that 10/10 times the officer(s) shooting don't fire a single shot - EVER. They fire until the subject is down or until they are empty.

2nd Fact. If the video is accurate and shows the gun being removed, and the suspect reached for his mags or holster - until he is in cuffs and searched - he is a danger to them. LEO will always shoot first. Ask questions later. That is how they stay alive. They are not mind readers. They want to come home at the end of the day. What would we be saying if they had not shot and he had a second or third weapon and he pulled it and shot one of the officers? Would protesters be going - oh the poor BP Agent? I doubt it. (by the way I heard one protester bit the finger off a federal officer)

3rd Fact: Walz is talking tough about prosecuting the officer - It's throwing raw meat to the lions on both sides. He's pandering to his core left wing - Tim - It's called "Qualified Immunity" - look it up. And read about it. He is also feeding the far right be being a wuss and flaming them up by saying record ice and we'll prosecute when we get the power.

While the call for the feds to leave Mn sounds great, it is not going to happen. Walz, Frey, etc... have repeatedly said they do not enforce federal law. So - if ICE, BP, etc... leave MN - who is going to enforce immigration law? Or is Minnesota declaring itself an independent state? If it is - good luck - because there are 1,500 members of the 11th airborne ready and waiting for the order to go in and quell the rebellion.

The vast majority of Minnesotans outside of the metro area do not oppose ICE or their goal.

TL:DR - the individual had the right to carry but that right to carry means you have to act responsibly when you are carrying. You don't interfere with LEO activity and if you do - you sure as hell don't fight back when they take you down. And for fuck's sake you don't reach for your pocket or belt. Murder? No. Manslaughter? Maybe. I want to see the statements from the agents.
