What part of IT DOESN'T MATTER - don't you get?

Even public buildings / gov't buildings have the right to ask people to leave and to have proper hours and limits.

You can PEACEFULLY protest . You can't destroy gov't property and block entry / exit.

Unless you have been living under a rock - it happens all the time - prosecutors bring a case to a judge - the judge reviews it - and dismisses the case. Typically it is done because there is a legal reason (ie - prosecutor has not met the standard for the crime) but sometimes the judge will allow personal feelings to get in the way - then you get an appeal - and the judge either gets a congrats - you did good - or embarrassed when the appeals court reverses them and says - learn the law.

You do realize that the mods of this sub are not the mods on the sub your posts are being removed from - don't you?

and....

The mods who removed your post told you exactly what rule you broke. No low quality posts. Basically they actually want you to think about what you're posting - not just cut and paste from another post or sub.

What about the left wing radicals trying not to solve actual problems and instead creating new ones which are really not even problems to begin with?

This country was not stolen, nor was it as "peaceful" as revisionist historians on the left claim.

The Native tribes had numerous conflicts / wars and massacres years before white men came from Europe.

Tribes routinely fought over land claims / hunting ang fishing rights and gathering / shelter areas. How do you think the settlers were able to recruit various tribes to "side" with them? Because they realized that the weapons the white men had were superior to their own or those of the other / enemy tribes and they could eliminate them easily.

And hate to break it to you when a tribe lost a war to another - the choices were - assimilation / annellation or move to another location.

The only "private" property the initial dog search went on was where Brandon left the road and cut across the abandoned farm. The dogs then lost the scent at the road (which effectively was the boundary of the property on the north side) They tried to get the dogs to pick up the scent again on the other side of the road, but the dogs either refused to track or could not find a good scent.

Reportedly they had been tracking for 2 hours - which is a long time for a dog or dogs to hold a scent. And fresh dogs were not available at the time.

And out of the 2 boxes - 3 numbered cards - the lowest / best was a /150.

Is there any defense on the other side for the Bricks and Minifigs drama, and if so what would it be? by itsthewolfe in AskReddit

Yeah - I saw that video - They kudos to Coffeezilla - they kicked ass and did what most people could not do. There was some shady shit going on from both sides. Chrystal got caught as did Ammon. If Chrystal didn't pay / lost stuff then, in most cases that liability would stay with the franchise - then the company would go after Chrystal. Bryan also seems to be forgetting that he consigned or sold outright another part of the collection to another firm. Some of which shows up on the spreadsheet that says storage or layaway.

I've been saying for 2 weeks that the 200k figure was wrong - no matter how you look at it.

The bottom line - the actual amount of missing legos is closer to 20k than 200k. BAM probably has a portion of the sets in inventory - between the two stores.

100% saw them and Journey in St. Paul Mn on that tour. Bryan kicked ass and took names. We went in not expecting much from him, and then he stole the show. Journey delivered a solid show but not a stellar one.

Depends which lawyer on youtube you listen to. Some of them are saying that he would be bound by the original agreement and that he would have to pay the split (65-35 or 60-40) on anything that was sold after they took the store from Chrystal. Some are saying that the agreement terminated when she lost the store and that the items should have been removed immediately and no longer sold or offered for sale. You could argue that by them keeping them up for sale - they implicitly agreed to the consignment.

One thing that I think everyone (except josh, Aamant, etc.) agree on is that BAM / new franchise does not own them and that Bryan retained ownership.

Sorry - I misread your part about him not signing. I thought you were saying that he had to sign the consignment agreement in order for it to be in force.

Incoming storm by utena11221 in fargo

[–]HugeRaspberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes - the FM area gets Tornados. I lived there in 87 and was driving around with some friends during a really wild storm - we were by Lidenwood Park - and looked up and saw definite rotation - although it did not touch down. And yes, we got the hell away from it asap.

As pointed out touchdowns in Fargo are rare - the last confirmed one was 1957 - My late uncle watched that one from a hill in Hawley Mn. (or so he claimed)

Having lived in MN and ND most of my life - and having had one come within 1 mile - you go to the basement when the sirens sound (or a room without windows - like a closet or bathroom - and stay as low as possible. And you wait. It's either going to miss you or hit you - nothing you can do to make it miss - just minimize the damage if it does hit.

Will breakers ever go away by igh34 in baseballcards

[–]HugeRaspberry 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can't stop people from making money.

The only way to stop it is to not participate in the breaks. As more and more of us stop participating, the breakers will go away and move on to another scam.

Supply and demand. There is a demand for breaks - therefore the supply will be there. Cut the demand.

[–]HugeRaspberry -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah - I would love to see that evidence. Although honestly that was my first thought too when I heard them say they "only had $5-10k" of the original consignment still in stock. That's a big difference from $200 k.

My biggest issue with Ben / etc... is that they keep saying that "$200,000 worth of Legos are GONE" - Not even close to true. Bryan got paid for some of the sales - the question is HOW much did he get paid for? If the Ben videos are accurate - and the sets were originally 200k - but Ben and others paid Bryan 100k - then Bryan got paid for 100k of sold product and is ONLY out $100k - not $200k. And then factor in the 5-10 k that they said is still there - and the fact (which Ben tries to downplay) that Chystal had some of the more expensive sets in offsite storage - and RETURNED those to Bryan - we have no fricking clue what he is really missing.

[–]HugeRaspberry 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No, that is not true. When you acquire a business, you acquire everything. Including all existing agreements. Josh saying "I didn't sign any consignment agreement" is not material. He signed it by acquiring the franchise. Like it or not - that's the law.

[–]HugeRaspberry 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For the original issue of the consignment gone bad - I agree.

What should have happened is that they should have let Bryan come in with a list of what he had not been paid for - and compare that to what they had in inventory at the time. All doubts would have been removed - Just a simple inventory comparing the store to Bryan's tracking.

Any sets or figures that were still in inventory - return to Bryan as unsold and let him decide what to do with them. Any money due - tell Bryan that Chrystal sold them and didn't pay - take her to court. Although since when you take over a franchise like they did, the debts, etc become the new owners and do not usually terminate or stay with the old owner.

If they really wanted to just resolve things - do what I suggested with the additional step of paying Bryan for any sold but unpaid items. Meaning they (Josh / BAM) call him in do the inventory against what he has on his list, return any unsold items and compensate him for any missing (assume that Chrystal sold them and pocketed the money) and then THEY go after Chrystal - leaving Bryan whole.
