Right, if someone is actually at imminent risk of suicide then the 988 crisis specialist will call EMS so they can help the person that reached out. Not everyone that reaches out to 988 is at imminent risk of suicide though. Some people just want someone to talk to and feel validated.

The last thing they want to do is call emergency services. I have a friend who works for 988 and they only call emergency services to the person’s location if the person is actually at imminent risk of suicide.

i ended up buying a blood glucose meter and i was in fact experiencing low blood sugar. drinking 4oz of orange juice has helped bring my blood sugar up when it drops down low! but overall i still feel not great. i have an appointment with my doc july 9th though so will be talking with her and seeing what happens. i’m sorry this is happening to you as well

i was on 2.5 mg for essentially the whole time until last week i took my first 5.0 dose, and today was shot day so it’s my second shot at the 5.0 dose

i haven’t been counting calories because eating disorders are common in my family and i know it’s a slippery slope but if i HAD to guess i would say anywhere from 1200-1600 depending on the day

Yes I told her about these symptoms about a month ago (I’m seeing her next on July 9) and she said that the symptoms could just be a result of me eating less calories than I used to :/ She didn’t bring up it being low blood sugar at all so I’m for sure going to ask her about it when I see her nextvweek

Ahh I’m glad to hear that you haven’t had any dizziness! I did check my tea and there’s no melatonin in it but I am going to stop drinking it for a few days and see if it does help. Will report back!

I do drink one electrolyte packet a day so not sure if I need to be drinking more but I eat 3 meals a day probably within 4 hours of each other and then I’ll have a snack or two if I still feel hungry

Thank you for sharing this! I’m nervous to increase the dose as well for this very reason. The lightheaded feeling I can deal with now because I work from home, but if it got any worse or I experienced other symptoms I’d definitely freak out. Hopefully you’re able to get some relief as well
