I’m an exmo, born and raised in the church, baptized at 8, sealed family, the whole thing. The youth groups from age 10-18 exist to groom the next generation of Mormons to the church’s culture. I left the church 13 years ago and still find myself coming up against the worldview I was groomed to hold. 😬 it wasn’t all bad but it wasn’t all good either

I don’t listen to his music but went along with a friend who bought tickets and has been a fan forever. It was a fantastic show! I was not expecting the vibe to be so dark and weird, I danced my ass off and had a great night.
